Chapter 9

Finn held my hips and asked," Do you want to do something?"

I said," Yeah. But what are we going to do?" He started to stroke his imaginary beard while thinking.

He suddenly stopped and asked," Do want to go see if PB has any new potions or adventures?"

I furrowed my brows at the thought of her but then said," Sure. Have nothing else to do."

He got up and went to change. When he got back he had my umbrella and gloves. I took them and put them on then we took off for the Candy Kingdom.

I walked next to Finn instead of floating. He intertwined his fingers in mine and started rubbing little circles in the back of my hand. When we got there the banana guards eyed our hands then escorted us to PB's lab. She was behind one of her lab tables mixing liquid together. She poured dark green liquid into baby blue liquid causing it to bubble and almost fizz over.

Finn," Hey PB. Do you have anything for me and Marceline to do?"

She looked up at me and Finn then she noticed our intertwined hands.

She looked back down at the viles and asked Finn,"Can I please talk to Marceline alone?" Finn squeezed my hand once before leaving the room. PB went over and sat in one of the lab chairs motioning me over to sit across from her.

Once I sat down she said," So you and Finn. Are you together or what?"

I answered," I don't know really. I never thought about it."

She clasped her hands together," How long have you been back?"

I replied," A few days."

"Why did you come back?"

"Well I started to think about it a month or so ago but when Finn came back with Dream I knew I had to go back for Finn."

"That's nice. When did you notice your feelings for Finn?"

"Hmm. Well I guess around when I first met him. At the time I thought it was just a little crush. It developed to more then a little crush though."

"Would you say you love Finn?"

"I don't know yet. It is definitely more then like but not yet enough to be love. It is a hard thing to think about when you're trying not to think about it."

"Okay, that's satisfying. This is a map of a abandoned city from before The Mushroom War. You and Finn need to find as many artifacts as you can and bring them back to me for examining and preserving. It will be a week long quest so I suggest you bring food, clothes, and shelter. Oh and Marceline please don't hurt Finn. He may be like my little brother but I still care for him deeply."

I nodded and ran out the door. I dragged Finn back to the treehouse telling him the plan on the way. Once we got what we needed from the treehouse we walked to my house to get my bass and a few sleeping mats.
