Tyler woke Josh up when Michael brought them their dinner. Josh's tummy was rumbling so he was more than happy to be woken up with food. He and Tyler had dinner in bed together, and Tyler decided to let him enjoy the beef bourguignon first, before bothering him with questions. So they watched Bob's Burgers on Tyler's TV again as they had dinner.
When they were done, Josh was completely full. He lay down, caressing his own tummy under his shirt. "That's enough for the next ten years", he sighed. "I'm so full."
Tyler pushed Josh's shirt up a little and pressed a soft kiss on Josh's tummy. "I'm glad you ate it all, though", he said. He ran his hand through Josh's hair.
"So..." he trailed. Josh nodded. "We can talk", he said. Tyler sent him a thankful smile. He wasn't sure if Josh was ready to talk or not yet, but he was.
"So... today Mr. Hewitt told me that you were... you were about to fail a lot of classes if you keep this up", Tyler softly said. "He assumed you told me, I told him you did indeed."
"I didn't", Josh softly said. "I'm sorry." "I forgive you", Tyler replied, criss crossing his legs as he sat next to his boyfriend who was still laying down.
"Can you tell me about it?" Tyler asked. Josh nodded.
"When I started working six days a week, I thought... I thought I could do my homework and studying after work and on Sundays. I just... didn't realize how much I had to do for work, and school. Sometimes I came home at 10 PM and I hadn't finished my homework for the next day yet so I started homework at that time and I went to bed at 2 or 3 AM. I haven't slept a lot lately..." he trailed softly.
"I had lunch every day", he said, knowing it was because of Tyler's family. "I tried to have breakfast every day but sometimes I overslept so there was no time. Dinner... I haven't had dinner in days", he softly said.
"Why?" Tyler asked, a frown on his forehead as he grabbed his boyfriend's hand. Josh shrugged. "There was no time", he softly said. "I was either working or doing homework and studying. There was no time for dinner, so I just skipped it. But... there's so much homework I haven't been able to finish, and I didn't have enough time to study and when I did study long enough, I was too exhausted the next day to focus on my test and it just... I just failed almost all of them", he said, breath hitching softly. "Especially maths. And neither was there any time to shower or look after myself. There was definitely no time to hang out with you, or... or even text you back", Josh softly said.
