Ryoma stood across from his son, having not slept or eaten in 3 days. They were in the middle of training, so Shiro's mother, Zadia, was preparing to attack. She came at him and he blocked it pretended to make a killing hit at her to show defeat.
"A samurai should always be at full strength, even without food or sleep." He said as he turned to Shiro.
Shiro shuffled uncomfortably, then put up his fist confidently, "From today, I won't eat or sleep for 3 days, no 4 days!"
Zadia chuckled softly, "Don't you think that's pushing it, you really should ease into it. Why not start with 1 day instead of 4"
It was too late Shiro had already run off, she gave a soft sigh and looked at Ryoma, "If he dies, I'm going to be angry with you."
"He won't, he's your son. Pushing himself is good for him, he won't get stronger if he doesn't." Ryoma said, kissing her cheek reassuringly.

Day 1:
Shiro was already hungry, but not so tired. Prince Seigbert watched him from the shadows with his cousins, Forest and Tyra. They watched him quietly as he defeated enemies almost effortlessly. This day went well. His mother came to check on him after a while to make sure he was doing alright.

Day 2:
Shiro is more hungry and beginning to get tired, by night he's stumbling around and having a little bit of difficulty defeating enemies. Seigbery goes to his mother, Emilia.
"Mother, I am concerned for Shiro." He says.
Emilia looks up from the armour she was shining, "Why dear?"
"He took on a 4-day training regiment where he doesn't eat or sleep for those 4 days." He explains.
She sighs and gets up going to Zaida's tent. Siegbert hears them talk for some time before his mother comes out.
"Dinner is almost ready, why don't you wash up."

Day 3:
Shiro is finding it harder and harder to stay awake. His mother watches him from the shadows, Ryoma by her side. He chuckled softly, knowing she will not rest until she is positive that Shiro is alright. They watched him stubble around bumping into trees and boulders. Siegbert and Forest watching to the other side. Shiro was attacked by an enemy troupe and seemed to be overtaken. Just as Seigbert was about to step in, Zaida emerged from the bushes coming to her son's rescue. His father followed shortly behind. Siegbert watched in amazement as the two cut down enemies together with flawless teamwork. Zaida turned to Shiro, checking him over the young man protested that he was fine. Zaida took a deep breath and Shiro fell forward. He rested his head on her chest, asleep. Zaida seemed surprised at first, but then smiled resting her hand on his head.
