I left his room but wasn’t convinced that he was okay,i went into my bedroom and layed down.I started to stare off when i heard the door open,i sat up and saw the operator standing in my doorway.I didn’t know why he was standing there but i figured there was a reason,”Is there something troubling you Absentia?”he questioned,i was gonna ask how he knew that but i remembered he could read minds.”Oh,it’s nothing”I lied, i knew he knew the truth but i doubt he would know the answer to my question,”It’s about jeff isn’t?”he said,i stared at him for a moment.I was shocked that he knew that much,”I’ve been watching jeff’s behavior lately and i’ve noticed that he’s starting to stray away from you,like he’s purposely trying to avoid you”he explained.I looked at the ground,i knew it,i knew i wasn’t the only one noticing jeff’s strange behavior.”I will talk to him and try to figure out what’s going on but i cannot tell you anything he doesn’t want me to tell you”the operator said,”I understand but i’ve already talked to him but he wouldn’t tell me anything”i said.After talking about my issue the operator left to find jeff.What is he hiding from me?,i wondered in my head,that one thought kept spinning in my head as if i would never get an answer.It was soon time for me to go on my daily killing spree so i left and ended up face to face with jeff.I backed up and put some distance between us,i didn’t want to be to close to him right now,i didn’t know what was going on in his mind and wasn’t sure i wanted to know.Jeff noticed my behavior immediately,”What’s the matter Absentia?,Are you scared of me or something?”He said.I thought about his question,maybe i was afraid of him but i couldn’t let him know that,”No,i’m fine,i just wasn’t expecting to see you”I said.Jeff busted into a fit of laughter,”What do mean by that?,We do live together you know”He said,”Yea i know that,but i thought you had left the mansion already,so i didn’t think i would see you”i replied.”Well i’m full of surprises,so you better get used to it”he said,I stared at him,not sure what he meant by “Surprises”.I eventually nodded at him and began to walk off,i could feel jeff’s penetrating gaze piercing through my back,i hoped he would stop staring at me but i still felt his eyes on my back.I ran throughout the woods to escape his gaze,as i was running through the woods i came into contact with someone that i didn’t recognize.The person in front of me was staring at me strangely,he had red hair and the brightest green eyes i’ve ever seen.Jeff must have been still watching me because he came running up beside me,i looked at him and then back at the stranger in front of me,jeff must have knew him because he was now standing in front of me,as if protecting me.
