prologue

"Kacchan!" A curly green-haired boy yelled, pushing through the crowd of people and running towards the spiky-ash blonde stuck in a glob of dark green slime. The slime monster, had red eyes and sharp teeth, capturing the young boy in it's body.

His body acted on it's own, running out onto the mess that was a crime scene. He panicked, and threw his backpack, successfully hitting the monster in the eye, causing it to cower and loosen it's grip on the boy.

Suddenly, the #1 pro hero, All Might arrived.

"DETROIT SMASH!" he yelled out, punching at thin air, though he didn't make contact with the monster, it blew the monster and it's liquid form away, the young boy that was trapped inside it remained on the ground, panting.

Though, that boy wasn't the concern. Right behind where the monster was, there was a cat. Eyes wide, and green goop dripping off of it. There were another set of eyes in the goop. It was about to run away, before pro hero Kamui Woods came and wrapped his wood around the cat, capturing both it and the monster.

Slowly, the remains of the monsters body slowly crawled back to the head, arm, leg, torso. You couldn't really tell to be honest. Then, it's mouth.

"GET AWAY!" he called out, jumping off the cats body, making himself larger in size.

"What's going on here?" A soft voice asked. The pro heroes turned around and saw a small girl, presumably the same age as the boy that was trapped in the monster just seconds ago. She was in a crime scene area, she trespassed.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry, but we're going to have to ask you to leave." Kamui Woods spoke up, trying not to cause any harm.

The slime monster slid under the pro's legs and jumped into the girl. The pros guard was immediately up.

"Hey, girl! Get out of here!" Mount Lady yelled rudely, causing the girl to turn and glare.

"Tell me, what's going on here?" She asked once again, not even fazed by the fact that horrid monster jumped onto her.

"W-Well this monster attacked a middle schooler, so we had to take action." Kamui explained, cowering in fear as the monster glared at him.

The girl whipped her head to the monster on her shoulder.

"I left you for one minute and this is what you do?! Are you serious?!"

"Wait, what are you talking about?" All Might asked, clearly confused by the relationship of the two.

The girl sighed, bowing.

"I apologise," she said, rising. "I understand you must be very confused at the moment. This," she gestured to the slime on her shoulder, "is my quirk."

"DON'T YOU SPEAK OF ME AS IF I AM JUST YOUR QUIRK."

"Um, he's my companion, friend, quirk."

"Oh." All Might said.

"That's odd," Kamui commented.

"Yes, I apologise, I'll try to keep him out of trouble, after all, I'm trying to apply to U.A., the hero school."

"Oh, really?" All Might asked. "Well all is forgiven, you are welcome to leave." He told her, just as the slime monster was sucked into her back.

"Alright, goodbye." She walked away.

Kamui stared up at the top hero. "Why'd you let her go?"

"I'm planning something."

All Might approached the girl from earlier, seeing her walk down the streets.

"Hello, young lady! I am All Might, as you may know! Haha!" He grinned his normal grin.

She sighed, "why are you here?"

"I want to ask a question!"

"Sure," she answered after some thinking.

"Do you live alone?"

She looked down, "yeah,"

"Well, I want to take you to U.A. right now, and show you the principal. We'll take care of you."

"W-Why? And you don't work there, do you?"

"Well, your quirk is special. Might as well. And yes, I work there, only this year. Hahahahaha!"

The girl considered his offer, signing and giving in.

"Let's go."
