Its was an early morning in purgatory. All was peaceful, you can just hear the sounds of the birds. I Slowly begin opening my eyes to take in the morning mist. Rolling over to see Nicole sleeping calmly. Its moments like this that make my heart melt. I began to just stare, slowly moving a piece of her short ginger hair away from her face.
"You're quite beautiful" i say in a soft voice waking her up. I cant help but smile gosh i really love her.
"Hay you" Nicole answers back, looking at me with her bright brown pierced eyes.
Nicole starts to take the covers away from on top of her, moving to get out of bed. I pull her close not wanting her to leave. I hardly get to spend time with her on top of Revenants and crazy shit Wynonna is going through. This morning is going to be perfe....
"Hay sis!" Wynonna says as she burst into my room. "Oh shit, Nicole i didn't know you uh stayed over...."
As Nicole being herself, she started to get out of bed to leave. Great, my perfect morning wasted. Nicole began to walk towards me, she comes close and softly kisses my forehead.
I just lay there not wanting to get out of bed. Nicole and Wynonna left, of course called into the office. Quite lonely; emptiness just filling the room. Im not a idiot i know there hiding something from me, im just not sure what it could be yet. I think to myself as i pick up my phone. 1 unread text messages.
"Hay baby, so sorry i was called into work. I'll make it up to you, i promise. How 'bout tonight? ;)" -Nicole
"Sure Nicole, whatever you say" -Waverly
"You're not mad? are you?" -Nicole
(Of course im mad, today was our 1 year of dating, i wanted a cute and romantic day with her...)
"Of course im not mad, just a little bit disappointed thats all" -Waverly
"Baby, tonight i have something planned promise me you'll come?" -Nicole
Not wanting to answer i Put my phone back on my nightstand, and began to get out of bed. I get dressed and started walking downstairs to greet Wynonna and who'm ever guest she decided to invite over.
Struggling to speak as im still not really up for the day. I manage to finally get out the words. "Its 7 in the morning and you and doc are drinking already?!?" Which i shouldn't be surprised its kinda a normal everyday thing to see. They just give me a look, Then the room went quiet. until Wynonna finally spoke.
" I need you to run to the market waves" Handing me a long list of random household items to pick up. Fun. ..told you today was gonna suck.
