Once you had stepped outside you let the tears fall. Stupid, thats what you were. How could you even for a second think that someone like Dean would ever be interested in you? Obviously he preferred the blonde and desperate type. You crossed your arms and started walking down the road towards home. You knew it would take you forever to get there and all you really wanted right now was to curl up in your bed and cry.
Your phone began buzzing in your pocket, looking at the screen you saw Sams name and hit ignore. You just needed to be alone right now. After walking a few minutes you felt a breeze brush against you and heard the sound of wings. Looking up you saw Castiel standing in front of you. He looked at you and tilted his head to the side, seeming to study your tear stained face. "Y/N, I sensed your distress, why are you so emotional?"
You ran forward and threw your arms around the angels shoulders, hugging him tightly. He slowly brought his arms up and held you. More crying came soon after and you spent a few minutes just letting him hold you and rub your back. "I am still not completely used to comforting humans, am I doing this correctly?"
You couldn't help but giggle and pulled away. "Yeah Cas, thank you I really needed that." He nodded and again looked to be studying you, "Would you like to explain why you are walking along a dark road alone and crying?"
Looking back towards the direction the bar was in you shoved your hands in your pockets, "I was going to finally tell Dean how I feel about him but he made it pretty clear he's not interested." Cas noticed your shoulders sag a little and felt that he should do something to help you. Looking back towards him you shrugged your shoulders, "I started walking cause I just really want to go ho..." before you could finish your sentence Cas had zapped you both back to the main room of the bunker. Looking over at the angel you smiled, "Thank you Cas."
"You are most welcome Y/N, should you need me for anything please let me know." With that he disappeared, leaving you alone once again with your racing thoughts. Emotionally and physically you were worn out, making your way to your room you walked inside and closed the door. Kicking off your boots you made your way to your bathroom. Turning on the light you looked in the mirror and winced, you looked awful.
Makeup ran down your face and your eyes were swollen and red. Deciding a shower was sorely needed you reached over to turn on the water. You stripped off your clothes and stepped into the shower stall. The hot water instantly made you feel better and you spent a few minutes just letting the water run down your body and relax your muscles.
The Impala raced down the road, the guys had seen no sign of you and had begun to get really worried that something had happened. Sam continued looking out the window, "Dude, we're almost back home theres no way she could have gotten this far on foot." Dean continued driving and scanning everything in sight.
"If you are seeking Y/N she is in the bunker."
Both men jumped and looked into the back seat, Dean hit the wheel. "Dammit Cas! How many times!" Cas was about to reply when Sam spoke up. "Did you say she was home in the bunker? How did she get there?" Looking at Sam with confusion Cas replied, "I found her wandering a dark road in an unstable emotional state alone. After assessing her situation I returned her home to the bunker."
Dean looked in the rearview mirror at him, "Thanks Cas." The angel looked at Dean with his usual puzzled expression. "Dean, I am your friend, but you have caused her great distress. I feel the need to hit you." Sam smiled at that and Dean rolled his eyes. "Yeah well I'm not too happy with myself either." The remaining five minute drive to the bunker was quiet. Pulling into the garage and shutting off the car Dean sat for a moment unmoving. Sam got out of the car and noticed Dean was still sitting there, "Dean come on."
Dean looked at his brother and Sam could have sworn he saw fear flicker in the green orbs. "What do i say Sammy?" Looking down Sam thought for a minute before lifting his head up, "You tell her the truth." Dean nodded and got out of the car. Making his way into the bunker he began looking for you. At first he looked in the library and kitchen. After both proved empty he began heading down the hallway towards your bedroom. The door was closed so he raised his hand and knocked, "Y/N?" There was no answer, reaching down to grip the doorknob he slowly turned it and poked his head into your room. He didn't see you anywhere but after a second he could hear the water running in the bathroom.
He made his way into your room closing the door behind him. Walking towards your bed be decided to wait until you got out. Sitting on the side of the bed facing the bathroom he set his elbows on his knees and put his head in his hands, he'd faced countless evil in his life but right now he was more nervous than ever before.
