After about five minutes of the sexy stranger just grinning at what was supposed to be my jump-off-a-cliff-and-die glare, I start to think there is something seriously wrong with the guy.
"Your not hurt are you?" My mind starts to turn towards worst case scenarios, what if the jolt caused a concussion or internal bleeding or brain damage? It wasn't that hard was it? Common sense told me I was being ridiculous but the irrational side of me, which tends to be stronger, felt a strange connection to this guy. A guy I don't even know, I remind myself sternly.
"Hey are you okay?" I'm worried by this point, but then his eyes lock onto mine and he pulls me closer, lightly gripping my wrist.
"What's your name?"He says softly, leaning towards me with a smile playing over his lips. I feel insanely happy and disorientated, not to mention relief over his zone-out recovery.
"You talk? I was starting to think you were a mute." I joke, feeling an mirror smile spread over my lips, I decide to answer him, "Lyssandra." The sound of my name causes his face to pale dramatically, his breath hitches in what I can only perceive as panic.
Abruptly he jerks away from me. running his hands feverishly through his ink black hair bursting into harsh laughter.
"Oh Gods," he breathes in the breaks, "Oh Gods you are cruel." What the fuck? Any warmth I felt towards this ass was quickly. fading.
"I'm gonna leave before I punch you in the face." I smile sweetly at him before storming off down the path. Ignoring me he stares at his hands in disgust, I snort angrily, and increase my pace to a fast run, longing for a hot shower and to be as far away from this jerk as possible.

By the time I get back to aunt Lilith's house, I've lived there all my life but just can't call it home, my best and only friends Will and Courtney are already there lounging on the beat up sofa in the cluttered living room.
"Hey kitten," Will had called me that since the day I had moved in next door and saved him from a particularly pissed off kitty, "forget about us?" he pouts playfully. I tell them about the rude stranger in the woods as I rummage through the cupboards searching for snacks. Courtney swings her immaculate brown ponytail over her shoulder, her blue gray eyes alight with curiosity as she leans forward conspiratorially, "was he hot?" she whispers.
I smile wickedly. "You have no idea, sister." She sighs wistfully and Will shoots me a disgruntled look and changes the subject.
."Is aunt Lilith coming back, I thought I might stay here tonight." He smiles sheepishly at me at and I know he's in trouble again.
"What did you do?" I groan.
"Hey! Mum started it!" Will retorts and we dissolve into giggles.
