Chapter 18

I awake to a loud bang and I open my eyes to see Evie standing over me with a smirk .

Oh shit ..
I jump up causing Zayn to Startle awake under me .

"What have we got here ?" she laughs swinging the empty bottle of vodka in her hand while I wipe away the sleep from my eyes .

"Jesus Christ Evie " he cries out still not fully awake .
My eyes flicker to him
Shyly before I look away quickly again.

My cheeks redden up when I realise the compromising position are in .

No wonder Evie is amused .

"I didn't have a key " I reply groggily at her and I stand up pushing her out of my way .

My head hurts and I have a creck in my neck ,

"Where is everybody ?" Zayn asks and he pulls out his phone from his pocket.
"Fucking battery " he mutters under his breath .

"I just got home , have you two been here all night ?" she asks with a menacing tone and I gape at her .

She's making fun out of me ..

"Yes .. We were at the park then came straight here after " he replies at little to eagerly that his need to hide last nights drama , surprises me .

Maybe they don't know Zayn's family drama .

"Anyway I need go shower and change but thanks for waiting with me " I reply quietly to him avoiding his eyes and I hurry out the door in a panic .

Why did I run away like that ? Now I look like an idiot ! ....

I'm bored .. It's been a long day nursing this headache .

Mom and Mick are working till 7 and Evie is up stairs with Jamie , no doubt making out because her techno music is vibrating down thru the celling irritating the hell out of me .

I lay my back on the sofa with my legs in the air and I throw my head back upside down .

I have been studying since 3pm and my brain is fried , why did I even try to study when I'm feeling like shit .

I wonder what Zayn is doing ? Did he go back home ? ... Why am I even bothered I curse to myself .

Suddenly I see a figure standing at the sliding door and I study him upside down before he bends over putting his legs between his legs and looks at me upside down too .

"Maxi " I call out excitedly and he laughs .
I sit upright and feel the sudden head rush .. Damn that hurts .

"Come in " I yell out to him and I straighten myself up .

"What are you doing exactly ?" maxi asks sarcastically as he strolls into the living room .

"I'm soooo bored and its only Monday ... " I reply dramatically and he laughs out loud .

"Ever smoked a pipe ?" he asks suggestively with a wolfish smile .

"A pipe ? it's not Craic is it " I reply in horror ..

"God no Riley .. Hash ! " He replies and I smile widely at him .

"I'm open to new things these days incase you haven't noticed " I giggle and I take his hand in mine .

"I have noticed " he giggles and I lead him up stairs to my room .

"Out the window maxi " I warn as he prepares the pipe and he sits on the windows bench .
