I've got this feeling like something weird is happening around me.
I mean, everything is weird for me to begin with since I'm an idol. But this one is different. It feels like everything kept on repeating.
It's August 15. The day for Obon Festival.
Sure, it's crowded. My jacket hood covered most of my face, though I could still see where I am heading at. I ran through the crowd, my gut was telling me to do so. My instincts told me something exciting or bad will be happening anytime soon. I'm just not that sure.
I feel all tensed and stiff, reminding me of my old state on the first time I performed in my first concert. I'm safe under my hoodie, but why the hell do I feel so anxious about something I'm not even sure about?
Wait, it's worth it.
Suddenly, my legs ached to go to the mall. I don't know why, but my brain is telling me to go there. I'm not sure what's happening to me.
What's happening to me?
I walked randomly inside. I used to be a food-shopping maniac yet my appetite for shopping wasn't the reason why I wanted to go here.
What is it?
With my heart racing, I entered the mall.
But accidentally, I bumped on someone.
"Su-Sumimasen..."
"It's okay."
I bowed then quickly looked up. It was a boy wearing an Ipod Hoodie with his dark green hair covered. His glare looked at me intensely. I stiffened but somehow, the fear inside me faded. He...
He looked familiar to me.
"Um... Have we met before?"
I asked out of the blue. My cheeks flared up in an instant. Damn it, Shintaro! What are you doing?
"A-A-A-Ano.... Gomenasai! I-I mistaken you for—"
"Ara, who is he, Hiiro~?"
A girl?
I looked over my side and saw a chest nut haired girl wearing a white-spotted hoodie. Her golden orbs looked like those of a cat. And seriously, I never get along with cats.
"Someone I just bumped to. Why is it, Kana?"
Kana looked over me with an amused look, as if I just made some sort of trick. I jeered back a little, staring at her. What's with her?
"Is... Is there something wrong?"
I asked. The girl smirked.
"Oh, nothing."
Then her eyes darted over the green-haired boy.
"You haven't get it, Hiiro?"
Hiiro looked at the girl in confusion.
"She's one of us."
Eh? What are they talking about?
"You mean..."
The girl nodded her head, still with the same smirk.
"So, will we take him?"
Eh? Eh! EH?!
"What's ha-happening?!"
I snapped between the two who were on their own words.
"Ara, seems like Idol-kun isn't really that coordinative. What do we do, ne, Hiiro~?"
To be honest, she's really annoying me.
Her cheeky attitude. Those mischievous golden eyes. Also her hoodie. It's pissing me—
Idol-kun?
How did she know me? I mean, me behind this hood?
I looked at her in disbelief, clenching my fists.
"How did you know who I am?"
"Oh, hush."
Kana waved her hand at me impatiently, as if I asked some sort of easy question.
For a moment, I thought I saw her eyes blinked red.
"No one else has an ability aside from you and that girl. It would be normal for me to pin-point you. Since we are looking for someone like we are."
Ability? That girl? Who? We?
I stood confused and dumb-founded, not sure of anything except one thing:
I was curious.
"What do you mean?"
I asked. Hiiro sighed in exasperation.
"Stop toying him, Kana. Take things seriously so we could go back to the hideout faster."
Hideout?
Kana seemed to be unpleased at what Hiiro just told her, that's why she pouted.
"Mm~ Whatever, Hiiro. Anyways,"
She lent me a hand.
"would you like to come with us?"
I was tempted to do it. Take her hand and go to some fascinating adventure with people I don't really know.
That would be great.
Really great.
"What would you do if I were to go with you?"
I asked. Hiiro scratched his head. Kana smiled still
"The thing you always wanted."
I always... wanted?
"Answers."
Who did she know?
"That go you curious right?"
Kana started teasing the frozen me.
"I know that you aren't sure about yourself yet."
Hiiro said, shoving Kana away. Finally, he looked up and his piercing gaze tore through my eyes.
I gulped.
"On why you got popular. On how you suddenly became popular. I know that you are curious about that, until this very moment."
And I heard Kana repeated.
"Will you go with us?"
I looked around, completely dazed about everything. It's way too fast.
As if the pages of this delicate story was brown by the wind, pages stuttering along.
"Just make sure nothing happens to me."
Hiiro smiled.
"That's good then. Is that a deal?"
I shook his hand with mine.
Kana shared a secretive look at Hiiro, and he gave her another one back.
"Blindfold Mission: Show new member to Ares."
Still lost and confused, I followed the newly met strangers to their so-called hideout.
UUUUUUUWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!!!!
SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE. WAIT. VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LATE UPDATE.
I'M... I'M SO...
LAZY.
WELL,
SORRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~~~~~~~~~~~~
