The day on a jetty.

In the morning I turn over to face Calum he's not there.

"hello sweetheart , we are going home today."

"hey dad I know well come on then."I crawl out of the bed and attempt to flatten the kinks in my normally perfect hair today it's more on the side of pathetic.

"unless..."

"unless what dad?"

"we leave Seattle?"

"leave Seattle? but what about Calum?"

"Obviously he would stay to and then eventually Annie would come too, I'm going to see brenda I'm still in love with her I've just been trying to convince myself otherwise."

"right well..."I nod sitting down and run a hand through my hair he takes the opportunity to leave, dad generally doesn't know how to act around me , i used to be rowdy , loud a real wild child missing my curfew and sleeping with all the jocks and players and all that but I've settled down.

"hey.."Calum stands at the door And I smile at him.

"Calum I love you , you know that?"

"of course."

"good."

"and guess what indie?"

"what?"

"I love you."

I hug him with all my love and he does the same.

"want to talk?"

"yeah actually we have some things to talk about"

"indie are we breaking up?"

"no I...unless you want to break up with me?"

"no,no, indie whats going on with dave and Brenda?"

"dad wants to get her back and he doesn't want to live in Seattle."

"he doesn't?"

"no."

"so what's going to happen with me and you , and Annie?"

"I don't know , dad said you can stay here, with me but he said that you don't have to.."

"yes I'll stay as long as I'm with you."

"what about Annie?"

"I..er...I don't know."

"we can't just leave her we need to be with Her she's your sister and she won't be happy to know we want to leave her..."

"well why doesn't she come too?"

"yeah but School.."

"won't care , she doesn't care..."

"ok do you want to ring her?"

"no but we need to wait for when dave talks to mum."

"I agree but that could be a while Brenda has morals she won't want to be known as the women who stole your moms kids."

"I understand."

"c'mon let's see how he's doing."

I lace my fingers in his and walk into the kitchen with him right into a full going argument but they don't see us there.

"dave! How can you do this after all I went through with you before Kelly and now Shelley I warned you didn't I?"

"I'm sorry but I've made a few mistakes in my life I mean I never wanted kids I didn't want indigo and then another girl seemed the perfect opportunity to show the excitement I never had with indie and now look how indies turned out mistakes are sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad I should of listened to you years ago but I didn't and I'm sorry I was just too blind to realise that you were who I was meant to be with!"
