First day

I look into my mirror. It's only the first day of high school I think. Oh no, it's the first day of being a freshman. I look at myself. My hair is such a mess and my eyes have huge bags under them. I quickly rush and brush my hair out and change into blue jeans with a stripped pink top. I throw on some tennis shoes and then I get a call.
Diana: Anne! I'm outside waiting! Let's go together!
Anne: On my way Diana!
I run down the stairs and say goodbye to Marilla and Matthew and I'm on my way to school. As me and Diana approach the huge school, we try and to find our friends. We see ruby and Tillie and everyone else from our school so we run over there. As I'm looking around at the other schools I see my enemy, Gilbert Blythe.
Me and Gilbert have known each other since I came here. We were friends sorta but also enemy's. I give him a competitive look. As I do he smirks, I hate it when he smirks. He starts walking over to me slowly.
Gilbert: Well hello Anne, it's nice being at the same school now, isn't it?
Anne: yeah, now I can beat you in person *I smirk*
Gilbert smiles and walks away. Why did he smile? He never smiles at me, well he's done it before a lot. I get lost in my thoughts not knowing I'm staring at Gilbert, he notices and smiles and I look away.
Diana: hey anne, isn't that Gilbert?
Anne: Yep, now I can beat him at school in everything.
Diana laughs and looks over. She notices the guy standing next to Gilbert. She looks at Anne and asks who he is
Anne: oh that's Charlie, he's a great friend to me and understands mine and Gilbert's competitions for the past couple of years. He always teases me and Gilbert too, so he can be annoying.
Diana: he sounds amazing
Anne: Hey Charlie!
Charlie: Anne, hey!!
Anne: Charlie this is Diana, Diana this is Charlie!
Diana: Nice to meet you Charlie!
Charlie: Back at you Diana!
Diana blushes and goes and talks to more people.
Charlie: she's pretty
Anne: yep and she's my best friend
Gilbert: Oh look at that, is Charlie crushing on miss Diane over there?
Charlie punches Gilbert's shoulder and then looks at Anne and Gilbert
Charlie: I don't know Gilbert, are you crushing on Miss Anne?
Gilbert punches him on the shoulder lightly and they both walk away. Anne runs over to her friends as they all walk into school together. They all knew as soon as they walked in, they were true freshman. They slowly opened the doors hand and hand. They all walked in and went to their lockers and their first class. Together they had no idea how they were going to survive high school. All they knew was they had each other and that was it.
