Anne woke up to her being snuggled with Gilbert Blythe. She freaks out knowing that's Ruby's man. She gets up and grabs her coat. She's out of his house and running in the forest until she sees someone running behind her.
"Anne! Wait up!!"
"What do you want Blythe"
"Why did you run out of the house, did I do something ?"
"Uhhhh no, it's just....I can't tell you."
"Anne you can tell me anything, what happened?"
"Gilbert, we can't be together"
"Anne?" Says Ruby
"Oh! Ruby...I swear it isn't what it looks like"
"You and Gilbert....okay then. Anne I don't like Gilbert anymore, he's yours"
"Ruby.....I'm sorry. I never meant for it to happen"
"Anne....Ruby....Whats going on?" Says Gilbert confused
"Ruby liked you for 3 years, and the first day you walked me to school, Ruby found out and I was told to never talk to you again. That's why I've been keeping us a secret, besides some people finding out"
"Anne, why couldn't you just tell them? I'm in love with you Anne!"
"I just couldn't...." Anne runs away and Gilbert has no point in going after her. He stands still staring at her hair moving in the wind...until something knocks him out of his staring..."
Ruby has kissed Gilbert....Gilbert pulled back...ruby kept trying. Gilbert runs. Ruby is left alone to cry...
*in the forest Gilbert goes looking for Anne*
"ANNE, ANNE?"
He hears feet running, he runs after the noise and runs into something he did not expect...
