First period

It's the first class of freshman year, lucky for me I had Diana in this class. But the bell rang right as we walked in and we quickly took our seats

"Anne, Diana, you two were almost late. Don't let it happen again" said the teacher strictly.

"Yes miss" Diana and Anne said at the same time.

Me and Diana ran to our seats. I took a look around to see whose in my class and to see if I knew anyone. I look around and right as I turn my head I hear people walk in the door.

"Miss, we are so sorry for being late, Charlie couldn't get his locker opened and the principal had to help us and she walked us to class. She said not to mark us tardy as it's only the first day." Gilbert said while out of breath.

"I shall then apologize to Anne and Diana who were a couple seconds late too. Girls, you have one week to find your way. I'm just tired and not thinking. I'm sorry girls". The teacher pointed to the seats across from me and Diana for Gilbert and Charlie to sit

"Okay class, today you are going to get to know you're table mates for the whole year. Talk with each other for the rest of the class and once you're done then just wait for the bell."

"Well, hello Anne and...."

"I'm Diana, Anne's best friend. Nice to meet you Gilbert"

"So you know my name? Oh and Diana, this is Charlie"

"Hey Diana"Charlie said blushing a little

Diana only giggled a little.

"Well Gilbert, I guess since we are partners in this class, I guess we should stop the rivalry in this class and any class and become friends" Anne said proudly

"Only if you want to Shirley" Gilbert smiled and nodded.

"Great, so we already know each other....whatca guys want to talk about?" Anne said looking around.

"How about Charlie and Diana get to know each other a little." Gilbert said smirking as Diana's and Charlie's faces turned red.

Anne caught on quickly "yeah, Blythe has a good idea over here. You guys should totally talk and just pretend we aren't here" Anne said winking at Diana.

"Hmm, I guess since Anne and Gilbert are friends then we should be Charlie?" Diane said worried.

"I would love to be friends Diana, at least we all know that we are going to be friends and have a great year working with each other" Charlie said smiling

"Oh this is just splendid, I can't wait to work with all of you, I'm so ready for a smooth school year." Anne said excitedly.

Gilbert smiled and thought Anne looked cute when she was over passionate over something. "Hey guys, why don't you all come over to my house later on, we can watch a movie and get to know each other." Gilbert said happily.

Everyone agreed and went through their day excited to hang out together.

Maybe this year wasn't going to ruin my life. Maybe I just made a group of best friends. She happily called her mom telling her she was hanging with some friends after school. She got told to hurry home after before the storm, they were expecting snow earlier than ever and it might be a bad storm.
