Crush on Zach Herron

Part 12

I woke up today feeling pretty good. I took a shower got dressed and went to eat breakfast. Downstairs my family was already eating breakfast.
Dad: Good morning Briana. How did you sleep?
Me: Good.
I said while sitting down. The rest of the time that we ate breakfast was pretty silent.
Alex: Are you coming with us today?
Me: Yes I am.
We went there and Jack opened the door. It was the first time I saw him ever since I choose Zach. I smiled at him. He didn't smile back, he just looked away.
Alex and I waited on the living room. When they were done my dad left. I saw the guys as they came in the living room. Zach winked at me and I smiled at him.
Corbyn: Hey are guys up for going swimming.
Jack: You can go. Im staying here.
Me: Im staying here too.
Zach looked at me with confusion. The guys left and Jack was about to leave too.
Me: No Jack wait.
Jack: What?
Me: Please just give me a minute.
Jack: No.
Me: Please?
Jack: 30 seconds.
Me: Look Im sorry I choose Zach, but I had to chose one of you. You are a really great guy and I don't want to lose you. So please can we be friends? Please?
Jack: Ok I guess.
Me: Yay.
I came up to him and hugged him. He hugged back. After we pulled away from our hug we were very close to each other and I got lost in his eyes. We were slowly leaning in and I totally forgot about Zach for a moment. Before I could snap back to reality. Zach walked in and saw us.
Zach: How, how could you?!
Me: Zach it's not what you think.
Zach: Then what is it?
Me:...
Zach: Thats what I thought. We're over Briana.
That broke my heart. How could I do that to him? Why am I so stupid? I tried to chase him but he had already run of.
Jack: Im sorry, that was my fault. Im going to leave.
Me: No it's not your fault.
I tried to stop him from leaving but he had already left. I started crying. I was so sad for doing that. Even though I didn't exactly kiss him, It's still cheating. Corbyn walked in and he was confused as to why I was crying.
Corbyn: Hey what's wrong?
He said as he came close to me.
Me: I-I did s-something stupid.
Corbyn: What did you do?
Me: Well Z-Zach and I w-were dating a-and I accidentally was a-about to kiss Jack. I-I feel so horrible.
Corbyn: Its ok.
He said as he pulled me in for a hug. I started crying on his shoulder. At least I had someone to comfort me.
Me: He also b-broke up with m-me.
Corbyn: I'm sure every thing is going to be fine.
Me: I hope so.
Corbyn: Just give him some time.
Me: O-okay. Can you please walk me home?
Corbyn: Sure.
We then headed out of the door. We walked to my house. The walk was pretty silent with a few "it's going to be ok" here and there. We arrived there.
Corbyn: Bye and if you need to talk just call me.
Me: Thanks I will. Also thank you for comforting me.
Corbyn: No problem.
The rest of the day I decided to go for a walk and draw. I was really sad. I tried calling Zach but he wouldn't pick up. I don't blame him. I would've done the same. When I was eating dinner I tried to hide that I was sad. My family did ask me what was wrong but I just told them I was tired. I got back to my room and just went to sleep cuz it wasn't worth staying awake and just hating myself.
