Mingyu walked through the busy streets of Gangnam, not paying much attention to his surroundings as he was glued to his phone. As he tried to get his phone to open Google maps, Mingyu walked straight into a short, squishy object that seemed to be a person.

The boy glared at Mingyu, while slicking his black hair back with his hand. “I’m so, so sorry,” Mingyu stuttered as he bowed deeply to the boy. The shorter male’s eyes softened slightly before grumbling, “its fine, just look where you’re going.” The boy walked away, so Mingyu continued with his quest.

He kept walking for around ten minutes, seeing streets filled with markets, high-rise buildings and industrial warehouses. It was one specific warehouse that Mingyu was looking for, unfortunately for him, they all looked the same. Rows and rows of identical, dirty white boxes.

Mingyu groaned.

Getting his phone out again, he checked the name and location of his destination. “Scorpion Bike Repairs,” Mingyu muttered under his breath as the wind started to pick up and hit his face.

He wandered around for about five minutes before he heard someone clear their throat.

“Ahem, can I help you?”

Mingyu turned around to face a boy with dirty blonde hair, staring up at him with his hands on his hips. He seemed to be around Mingyu’s age, maybe younger.

The boy looked highly suspicious of Mingyu, so he decided to put on one of his best smiles in an attempt to be as friendly as possible

“Yes please, I’m looking for Scorpion Bike Repairs,” Mingyu said with as much confidence as he could muster.

Upon hearing Mingyu’s words, the boy’s expression immediately turned into one of delight.

“Oh, you must be Mingyu, the new recruit! I’m Seungkwan, the communications manager for the Scorpions, but you can call me Kwan,” the boy Mingyu now knew as Seungkwan exclaimed happily.

“I’ll take you there,” and without letting Mingyu say anything at all, took him by the hand and dragged him through the catacombs of warehouses. Seungkwan finally led Mingyu to a large-ish warehouse with the outline of a spray-painted scorpion.

“Well go in,” said Seungkwan expectedly. Mingyu took a deep breath and opened the door.

Jihoon was having a bad day. He fell out of bed, hitting the side of his head on the bedside table as he did so.

Grumbling and cursing he pushed various sheets of paper out of the way while walking into his kitchen to grab himself a coffee. Opening the cupboard, he saw nothing but a few tiny spiders that had decided to make their home there.

Grumbling again he put on a dark hoodie and his shoes, heading out of the door.

No less than thirty seconds later, a bean pole of a boy collided right into him, evidently distracted by his phone. Jihoon glared at the boy, though feeling slightly bad as the boy apologised profusely.

Brushing it off, Jihoon turned back around and narrowed his eyes at the boy. He was walking a path that Jihoon knew rather well, causing his suspicion to rise. Giving up on going to get coffee, Jihoon made it his mission to follow the brown-haired boy after not much thought.

Jihoon blended in very well with the crowd, trying to remain inconspicuous, with his hoodie pulled up over his head. He followed the boy to an all too familiar group of warehouses.

Jihoon swore under his breath.

Clearly the boy was looking for the Scorpions. The short male jumped as he heard a familiar voice. Boo Seungkwan. As Jihoon listened to their brief conversation, he knew his suspicions had been confirmed.

The Scorpions had a new recruit. Cursing again, Jihoon turned around and started to head back, making a mental note to tell Wonwoo when he saw him next.
