Mingyu woke up the next morning tired, but somewhat excited. He had been on a long video chat with Seungkwan the night before, explaining his progress with the Riders so far. He had yet to meet most of them but was planning to meet them that morning. Seungcheol had placed Seungkwan as Mingyu's overseer in this mission, much to Seungkwan's delight.  The blonde boy had said that Seungcheol was pleased with the acquaintanceship he had formed with Wonwoo, the mission only being given 18 hours before.

Mingyu stretched before lazily rolling out if his bed. He got up and started, bleary eyed, to cook some eggs. After gulping down a serving, he went to brush his teeth and get dressed. He wanted to make a good first impression on the riders, so  choosing an outfit was difficult for him.  After settling on a white shirt with black ripped jeans, Mingyu left the apartment, whistling slightly. Walking for about five minutes to the bus stop, the chocolate haired boy anticipated the day to come. It was his first proper meeting with the gang, and if he failed in his goal to be accepted, the whole mission would be ruined.

As he got on the bus, he noticed a boy with long black hair, jeans with more rips in them that Mingyu thought was humanly possible, and a black mask covering most of his face. He was looking at him some sort of interest. Mingyu took a seat and tried to ignore the boy's eyes staring into the back of his head. It took Mingyu's bus around what he thought was a half hour to get to Dong-Jak.

Stretching his overgrown legs, he got up and off the bus. Getting up Google maps, he put in the address Wonwoo had given him. Luckily his destination was close, so he didn't have far to go. He looked up. The building was quite tall with several floors to Mingyu's surprise. He was expecting another shed-like infrastructure like the Scorpions'. Taking a deep breath, he practiced his best smile. First impressions are the key to success you .know? After standing at the door for about a minute, still practicing his expressions, Mingyu was tapped on the shoulder. turning around, he was greeted with the boy he had noticed earlier.

Mingyu smiled, a little awkwardly, noticing how the boy's eye's were cold and icy.

"Who are you and what do you want?" the boy asked abruptly, his dark eyes burning into Mingyu's lighter ones.

Gulping as he noticed a pair of nun-chucks hanging from the black haired boy's leather belt, Mingyu replied with as much confidence as he could muster.

"Um I'm the guy Wonwoo wanted to show around, something about a new place in a gang. Did he not tell you?"

The boy shook his head and visibly tensed at the mention of an empty spot.

"Wait here."

And so Mingyu did.

Some passers by stared at the overly tall boy just standing in front of the large building. He didn't care though. Waiting for a few more minutes, Mingyu got out his phone and started flicking through the news. After reading articles of the dodgy dealings of SM Entertainment, and the departure of two of Cube's best artists(Mingyu was really into music), he was stopped by the sound of the door opening.

Expecting it to be the black haired boy, he was surprised to see a man with faded purple hair smiling at him. It certainly was a contrast to what Mingyu had thought would greet him.

"Hi! Sorry about that, Wonwoo didn't actually tell us that anyone was coming... You're Mingyu right?"

"Yeah I am."

"Oh cool, I'm Seokmin by the way, that idiot who who rudely greeted you earlier was Minghao, don't mind him he's just... shy."

Mingyu smiled at Seokmin slightly. The brown-haired boy could tell that he liked talking to people. They stood there for a few moments before the smiley boy broke the silence.

"Well there isn't much to do outside, so do you wanna come in?"

Chuckling softly, Mingyu nodded and followed Seokmin inside. His eyes were immediately greeted with posters and other items adorning the walls. He noticed the boy called Minghao, still looking at him intensely, though his face seemed to have softened slightly. A man Mingyu didn't recognize was lying on the red leather couch, flipping through a magazine of some sort. He looked up at Mingyu in vague interest, pushing his  auburn hair back as he did so. Seokmin then led Mingyu into a side room. Looking at each other, the auburn and black haired boys got up and followed suit.

Walking into the room, the spy saw him.

Wonwoo.

He was dressed in a tight fitting black turtle-neck, matched with dark grey jeans.

According to Mingyu, and this was putting it lightly in his opinion, Wonwoo was hot. Wonwoo's sharp eyes flicked up to stare intensely into Mingyu's dark, chocolate ones. Quiet fell over the room before Wonwoo started to talk.

"So... you actually came huh," Wonwoo's deep voice spoke coldly.

Mingyu was somewhat surprised at the tone of his voice, contrasting to that of one of warmth. Wonwoo's  whole demeanor and appearance had also changed since their meeting at the cafe the day before. He noticed the red haired boy whisper something into Seokmin's ear who in turn nodded.

"Tell me Kim Mingyu, why should I let you join us."

Swallowing, he replied.

"I have great skills in different areas, I've been in this business for ten years, I have strong and powerful connections, and I'm willing to do everything and anything I can do, even if it means myself or others get hurt."

"Yes very good, but what makes you special?" piped up the boy Mingyu still didn't know the name of.

"Jeonghan has a point, what does make you special?" Wonwoo questioned, eyes still dark.

"I know how to get what I want."

Wonwoo raised an eyebrow before looking at Seokmin, Jeonghan and Minghao who all nodded, some a bit slower than others.

Wonwoo then looked back at Mingyu, a sort of gleam in his eyes.

"Welcome Kim Mingyu, to the riders."
