Third Person POV
Calypso skipped her way over to Hephaestus along with Leo, who was stumbling while trying to catch up.
"Argh, these stupid chains! What did we ever do to Thalia?" He complained.
"You probably annoyed her, like you do to everyone."
"I don't annoy you Sunshine."
"Don't be so sure of yourself Repair Boy."
The duo soon made it to the shop and stepped inside.
Wires hung from the ceiling and the floor was littered with bolts and parts of various machines. There was a work desk where Leo's mother sat, hunkered over a tiny trinket, which seemed to be some sort of comm device.
"Hi mom!"
"Hi sweetie, and hello Calypso, welcome back." Mrs. Valdez smiled warmly, but her eyes shone a different emotion, amusement.
It was a new routine where Caleo stopped by the repair shop. Calypso would help with weaving parts, like wires ,together, while Leo would be nearby fixing things for customers. It was now a smooth rhythm they had created, both worked in sync with one another that you would think they could read each other's mind.And, well, what else could Esperanza Valdez do except ship them?
———LINEBREAK———
Leo and Calypso were laughing as they exited the shop. It was about midday and Esperanza told them to take a break while she fixed up some more machines.
"-So then Jason grabbed-"
But then suddenly, thier worst nightmares happened.
The shop exploded.
