Yes! It was my 14th birthday! July 7th! I literally ran around the house screaming my head off until the neighbors had to knock on my door to shut me up.
Excited to see my tattoo, I raced up to the bathroom, flung the door open and pulled down the collar of my shirt.
My tattoo was a silver plant. I think my mom told me it was called Moonlap, Moonlake, wait, no, Moonlace.
Still on a sugar high from eating skittles earlier, I ran over to my dads repair shop, Hephaestus, and almost ran into someone.
That someone was my mom.
"Leo!" My mom exclaimed. "Happy birthday!"
"Thanks!" I replied and then I showed her my tattoo. "Look! I got my soulmate tattoo!" I literally screamed, jumping up and down like a little kid.
"It's beautiful!"
"I know, I can't wait to show dad!"
"Well, he's by the front."
"Thanks mom!"
And off I went.
