"I can't believe they want you, like they picked you that's insane." Lea was pacing Carson's room while she got ready for her audition.

"Gee, thanks."

"I mean there must have been so many people who auditioned."

"Wow, your just digging yourself a deeper hole," Lea stopped pacing and looked through the mirror Carson was looking in to apply her concealer.

"Car you know what I mean, I just can't believe your going to be famous. Wait when your famous are you still going to remember me." Lea rested her hands on either side of Carson's chair.

"But what if I meet like super famous people like Blake lively or Beyoncé or something. Will it be acceptable to forget you?"

Lea smacked Carson on the side of the head causing the mascara she was applying get on her eyelid, cheek and nose. This earned a big gasp from Carson.

"You son of a bitch." Carson looked at Lea, and if looks could kill lea would be long gone.

Carson took a makeup wipe and took off most the mascara, and covering the spots on her cheek with more concealer.

Carson found herself paying the Uber driver once again before hopping out the car and walking into Marvel Studios.

All she was expecting was to see her manager inside, she had no idea of what it looked like or what to expect.

Last night she read the script the Marvel Team sent her manager. She read it a few times about 5 before she decided it was enough, she didn't want it to be dry but she also didn't want it unprepared.

She got a sense of how she wanted to read it and portray the character.

She opened the glass doors into the lobby of the building. She knew that this building was mainly for editing and planning the movies, it's not where they actually film any of them.

She walked in and didn't see Elise anywhere. Surveying the area she concluded she wasn't there. She picked up her phone and noticed she had recently received a message from Elise.

Elise bold Carson underlined

Sorry I can't make it to your audition,
got caught in a family emergency. Good
luck and call me when your done.

I hope everything's okay, and I'll try my best.
Talk to you later.

She placed her phone in her pocket and took in the room she just recently stepped in. The walls were painted white, each wall had some sort of blown up comic book cover or character from Marvel. The floors gave the room an elegant and classy approach with glossy grey tile. The centerpiece of the room laid with the dark read sign hung above elevators straight ahead from the door. In huge letters it read Marvel Studios.

To the right of the door was a nice seating area, the colors of the couches complemented the room exactly. Unlike the light grey floors the couches were dark grey, one love seat was black along with an armchair. The pillows on the couches were black and there were accent pillows that had comic book pages on them.

To the left of the door was a receptionist desk. It was split having a lower and higher counter kinda resembling a bar in a kitchen. The desk had a beautiful granite counter top, on top the higher part of the desk sat a vase with sunflowers along with several full business card stands. The lower part of the desk was solemnly dedicated to computers and whatever else the receptionist would or could need.

There were two receptionist, both females. The one closest to the door resembled Sophie Turner. The receptionist to her left was a blonde, had brown eyes and was very tall and skinny.

The audition was set for nine, but considering Carson's manager was supposed to meet her here she got here thirty minutes early.

After taking a glance around the room she went up to the receptionist to let the director she was seeing know she was here.

"Hi, how may we help you." The one that looked incredibly similar to Sophie Turner was the one the approached and spoke to Carson.

"Hi, I'm supposed to be meeting with Joe Johnston," Carson noticed that the receptionist name was Lauren, she can stop referring to her as Sophie now.

"What's your name and what are you here to meet him for?" Lauren walked to the computer and was starting to type, Carson could only guess it was for her audition.

"Carson Levon, and I'm here for an audition." Carson walked closer to the desk and rested her wrists on it along with her purse.

"It seems he might be able to see you a bit earlier than nine, we will call you up once he's ready." Lauren looked up from the computer and smiled at Carson.

Carson returned the smile and thanked the receptionist before heading over to the seating area to the right of the door.

Sitting on the Black loveseat she decided to text her mom. She hadn't talked to her mother in a couple of days, maybe a week or two. The past month has been the busiest for her, not having much time to herself.

Anita bold, Carson underlined

Hey mom, I've been busy working. My car broke down and I have been taking extra shifts to
pay it off and not reach into my savings.
Anyways I'm at an audition for marvel,
there's a good chance I'll get it.
Ill call you when I get home.

Love you.

After texting her mom and not getting a response she looked down at her outfit now noticing how extremely underdressed she probably was.

She was dressed in simple black distressed jeans and a white t-shirt knotted in the front. Over her t-shirt was a black wool cardigan that reached down to her knees. She was wearing Adidas red campus sneakers and of course her black purse.

Trying to convince herself she recalled all the audition tapes she's seen of people who wore just t-shirts and jeans, some even sweats.

"Ms. Levon" the blonde receptionist called from the desk.

Carson lifted her head from her phone making eye contact with the receptionist. Grabbing her purse she walked up to the desk. She set her phone inside her purse and followed the receptionist to the elevator.

Carson had mixed emotions about this audition. Of course she was nervous this could determine how she was going to live her life form this day forward. Of course she was excited, she could be living her dream in the next month, and acting upon actors with tons more experience than she has.

The elevator door dinged and opened to reveal a long hallway. Only about two doors on each side.

"His room is the second door on the right, he's expecting you but I suggest to still knock before entering." Carson stepped out the elevator and thanked the receptionist.

Today marks the day where her whole life is going to change.

A/n

I did say that this update was going to have her audition but I decided to not include it. The next update picks up after her audition. Carson goes into detail about her audition and wether or not she got the job.

Comment any feedback you have wether it's positive or negative. I won't appreciate hate but rather constructive criticism so I can make my writing better.

Thanks for reading I hope y'all are enjoying this as much as I am. I've had this idea in my mind for a while and even wrote this fanfic once before but never published it because it sucked.

I'm going to stop rambling but enjoy.
