Chapter Two

~ Tea ~

Being awaken from my 'slumber' by the sound of a guy being escorted by two much larger men in black all the while kicking and thrashing his arms knocking over glasses on bar tops causing a great commotion and uninterested glances towards the scene.

How long have I lying here.
And why am I so cold? I look down at my exposed arms and legs noticing the unfamiliar black dress.

Where the hell did I get this. But more importantly where the hell am I?

I get up in a quick panic, knocking into the small table in front of me with a few womens' clutches and a cell phone.

Picking them up from the floor I notice my shoes.

"My shoes?" The black sneakers I started the day with still on my feet.

My shoes give my memory a slight jog and I remember the outfit I originally had with these shoes and look down at the purse in my hand and naturally thinking of my own.

Damn.

I hope this is just a dream.

My bag. My bag has my clothes.

I recall where I left my bag is but not where I'm actually at.

I quickly place the items back on the table and turn the corner towards the booming music and head for the the bar counter.

"Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me." I say as I part through the crowd of sweaty people near the counter.

"Hey! I don't know where you've been but your friends left about an hour ago!" the guy with brown eyes and blonde hair says in my direction while mixing a drink and I can feel my body get hot with fear.

"WAIT WHAT SHE LEFT ME!?" I say in a rush stepping closer to the counter so I can hear.

I know I came here with someone but I just can't place who. I't's on the tip of my tongue but I just can't get it. I kind of just feel like she had something I needed.

"Yeah you missed them by an hour after the one with the glasses got three time as high and started gettin quite wild!" he laughs and I take notice of his accent.

"Them?" I question

"Yeah them? weren't you with the girl with purple hair?" he says and I remember her hair but her face and everything else is a blur.

"Well she told me to give you this." I pulls my black bag from under the counter and sliding it across the bar top.

"My bag!" I say grabbing it and unzipping it to see if my phone is still inside. It is.

"Thank you so much!" I I say before walking away only to walk back.
at least I didn't leave it in her car. HER CAR. SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE A RIDE SOMEWHERE.

But the real question was where.

"Would you by any chance know the time?" I ask not even sure if I really want to know.

"Yeah it's just about 2 a.m." He smiles and my heart is literally no longer beating.

"My dad is going to kill me." I whisper so ready to cry.

"You sound like you need a drink, here."

He says calmly and handing me a bottle of water.

Thank Jesus I thought he was trying to give me more alcohol.

"Thank you, what's your name? Your like the most sensible person I've met all day." I say and mean every word.

"I'm Matt. And hey if you ever find yourself here again don't be afraid to say hey, yeah." he laughs and I nod swallowing the water quickly.
