Amara ended up heading to school early, excited to help Clawd with casketball. She waited by the front doors, keeping an eye out for the werewolf.
Eventually Clawd walked through the gates with a casketball in his arms. He spotted Amara easily and ran over, a grin on his face. "Amara! Thanks for offering to help me!" he greeted.
The short girl laughed softly. "No problem Clawd. I'd prefer to have the captain of the casketball team to be on the top of his game." she told him, elbowing him in the chest.
The two shared a soft laugh before heading to the gymnasium.
Clawd dropped his gym bag on the bleachers and bounced the ball over to Amara. He grinned. "Let's see how good you are, Amara. Maybe you'll be the first girl on the casketball team."
Amara let out a short laugh. "As much as I like casketball, it's just a hobby to pass time." she informed Clawd, dribbling the casketball.
"Come on, from what Deuce says, you might be the player the team needs." Clawd told her.
The girl blushed and shook her head. "No way, Deuce exaggerates the things he says. I'm not that good." she explained.
Clawd chuckled. "Well, let's see if he exaggerated this time. Come on, one small game." he pushed.
Amara rolled her eyes. "Fine, let's go." she replied. She quickly ran towards Clawd, casketball bouncing between her hand and the floor. Just before she collided with Clawd, who was trying to swipe the ball away from her, she made a sharp turn and headed towards the net.
Putting all her strength into her jump, she launched herself into the air, throwing the ball into the net.
Her hands clasped onto the ring of the net before letting go and letting herself drop down.
Clawd stared in amazement and shock. "That was awesome! You should totally join the casketball team!" he encouraged.
Amara shook her head. "Nah, I just got lucky. I'd just drag down the team." she debated.
The werewolf patted Amara on the shoulder. "No way, you'd help the team a whole lot! You just gotta believe in yourself." he assured her, giving her a sweet smile.
She smiled back and blushed softly, her heart beginning to beat faster. She stared sweetly into his eyes and he stared back, still smiling happily.
The bell rang and Amara snapped back to reality. She chuckled nervously. "Sorry I got to get to class." she told Clawd before rushing out of the gymnasium.

Clawd opened his mouth to say goodbye but the sound of the gymnasium doors slamming shut cut him off. He sighed and grabbed his bag as well as the casketball. "See ya, Amara. . ."
