Brook
Her room
10:12 amMy heavy feeling legs carried me down the large resort stairs to the dining hall. We all ate together and it was really loud when we did. My eyes carried the same tiredness as the rest of my body and I could barely open them. I yawned and stretched myself a small bit to try to wake myself up. Some yawns followed after mine as I had made it to the dining hall by then.
I forced my eyes to open as two small hands grasped around my shoulders. Alyssa's brown eyes met my now opened ones and I noticed the worried glance she was sending me. I yawned again and rubbed my eyes so I could focus better on her.
"Hey," I sighed out.
"Are you okay? You look like you've had a rough morning," Alyssa tilted her head in question.
"I'm fine. Tired," I stated with a sigh. "Why'd you grab my shoulders?"
"I. Got. Jealous," Alyssa's lips formed a deep frown. My eyebrows raised seemingly on their own out of my surprise.
"That must mean you really like her..." a small smile tugged my lips upward. "Cute."
"This is bad! I mean..." she waved her hands around before they stopped in front of her chest. Her chest puffed up with a load of air she breathed in. When she exhaled it was a deep sigh. She looked up at me with slightly concerned eyes that held a little fear. "Yeah."
"It's okay Alyssa," I lightly placed a hand on her shoulder. "Finding love is what we're here for."
"It's terrifying though. What if she notices how weird I am and she leaves me?" Alyssa's eyes turned a little glassy behind her glasses. "Our relationship started really fast."
"Relationships on this show are supposed to start pretty fast," I offered Alyssa a gentle smile, trying to reassure her. "And I promise you that you aren't weird enough to scare her off. Not that your weird!"
"Okay..." Alyssa took another deep breath, obviously trying to calm her anxiousness. Her head bobbed with the nod she was preforming. I smiled knowing that my efforts at calming her were pretty effective. Any other time I would've been horrible at helping out with reassurance. We stood in a little bit of an awkward silence before I stepped towards the buffet like counter. She followed me, not really getting a lot of food.
"You should eat more," I gestured to her plate and she looked down at it with a frown.
"No thanks," her lips formed a straight line, very serious about not eating much. She proceeded to walk away from me and towards the door that led to outside. I sighed and quickly finished getting my vegetarian pasta.
I quickly took off towards the door to go find Alyssa again. As I went through the door (after a little trouble opening it), I slammed straight into someone. My pajamas were instantly a little wet by the pasta sauce and noodles were down my shirt, probably in my bra too. A small gasp left my mouth as I looked down at the mess on the floor.
"I'm so sorry," a male voice interrupted my soundless scolding. I looked up with a small glare that melted when I saw Dean. I instead crossed my arms and shrugged with a sigh.
"It's fine," I crouched down to pick up the bowl, Dean somehow having the same idea. Our hands both met in the same place, my face heating at the contact. I quickly pulled the bowl up and stood with a small cough. I turned on my heel and went for the sink to set down my bowl and wash my hands.
"You look cute," I could hear the smirk behind his voice. My face heated even more knowing that I probably looked like trash. I didn't brush my hair or anything because I was so tired. My hunger led me downstairs before I could wake up enough to do anything with my appearance.
