Ceremony platform
2:34 pmDemi and I stood beside each other all dressed up and ready for the dates to come. Right now they had been given time to take a shower and all that stuff. I'm excited to see my best friend again.
Demi's fingers brushed against mine and I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back at me, her perfect face looking so damn beautiful with a smile on it. She winked at me, single-handedly melting my heart. A blush rose to my cheeks and I winked back, just so she might not see my blushing.
Demi was wearing an elegant dress that showed off all of her curves. I was starstruck by how much of a goddess she was. Her beauty struck me as something so impossible to achieve but she seemed to do it so well. I still couldn't fathom how she could like me. I'm a tiny hoe with a hatred for food.
"Excited?" Demi's sweet voice filled my ears. I met her eyes again with a wide smile.
"I am," but my grin fell as I suddenly felt nervous, worried that I would screw up. "Are we allowed to give our Silver to the same gender?"
"You say silver so cutely," Demi gave a soft smile. I raised an eyebrow out of curiosity towards her. "But I'm sure I can give my Silver to you."
"Why can't I give my Silver to you?" I pursed my lips, narrowing my eyes at her softly.
"Because I'm obviously the top in this relationship," Demi's lips grew into a mischievous smirk. My face heated up but I burst out laughing. Demi laughed along with me, a truly glorious sound that made my insides flutter. The pure cheeriness of her laugh blessed me every time I heard it.
We both turned forward and looked around on our own. The Ceremony platform had nice white tile flooring that was shiny, cleaned recently. There was raised boosts in front of a large showcase of lights. The host who I think is named Ray was probably going to be in front of the lights and small desk of red velvet boxes while us people were probably going to stand on the boosts. The boosts were connected to the floor using the same material throughout and in staggered rows. The whole area was encased in a dark wooden fencing that arched near the doorway. It was a nice lobby like area but it looked very elegant.
The whole thing made my stomach twist with an unwanted feeling of worry. I could mess up when doing anything in front of all the other people, especially Demi who could omit me from our relationship. I could trip and fall or chicken out or drop whatever this Silver was and break it. Too many possibilities of me messing up played over in my head, only succeeding in making my heart speed up and my hands become clammy with sweat. I wasn't looking forward to this.
A noise of a loud laugh that I knew all too well came from outside of the Ceremony platform. The laugh, sounding as though a hamster was making itself noticed, belonged to Vayda along with many other weird laughs. My head snatched up to get a look at why or what she had laughed at. She was of course holding a hand over her mouth to shield Tom from looking at her laughing face. Tom had been the one to make her laugh apparently.
She was wearing a nice flowing pink dress that showed her back and stopped mid thigh. It clung to her body at the top but flowed down at the right place, saving her any embarrassment. She looked pretty although she would never think that of herself. I'd known her too long to not know that she thought she looked terrible in anything.
Tom was in a suit of course, although some of the males had some khaki shorts mixed with button ups. I feel like Tom would pull off both looks although the full suit look suits him. See what I did there? ;)
They came and split up, Vayda coming towards Demi, Brook (she wasn't paying much attention because of looking towards Dean) and I. I gave an enthusiastic small wave that she returned as she walked. Before she fully made it to us she stumbled over her foot very noticeably and I broke out into a loud laughter. Vayda's face went entirely red with her embarrassment and she picked up her pace to huddle towards us.
