Better Together (w.o)+(s.l) (Syatt)

We walked into the crowded hotel room and instantly everybody turned towards Sophia and I.

"Hey lover boy" Chosen smirked.
"Hi Chosen." I smiled sarcastically.

"What did you guys do?" Jack asked with a smug look.

"We went for a walk." Sophia responded looking down at her shoes.

"Slut" coughed Maddie.

Everybody turned to face her.

"Why did you even come if you were just gonna be a huge bitch the entire time?" Sadie shot back.

Maddie laughed and shrugged and went back to talking to Lilia and Jaeden.

That whole time I was looking at Jaeden, I couldn't make out what his mindset was, was he even Sophia's friend anymore? My friend?

I shook it off and proceeded to the bed were the blankets looked oh so comfy.

I got under the covers and went on my phone. I looked through some fan edits and texted some of my friends, it felt like a normal night until everything turned to absolute shit. Let me just tell you right now, nobody got sleep that night.

imma try something different bare with me guys.

Narrator:

Even after that little exchange between the couple and the wants-to-be-the-one-in-the-couple, the tension started to slowly fade away, but that was just the calm before the storm.

"Fuck it, let's play some spin the bottle, let's make things crazy." Maddie said standing up, by now everybody but her two allies were very irritated by Maddie, it was a surprise that anybody even listened to her at all.

Everybody looked around to see if anybody would answer.

"Let's do it." Millie answered glaring at Maddie. The group looked hesitant but agreed to. They all formed a circle in front of the tv, they sat where you'd except them to sit. The hated 3 together and everybody else visibly separated from them.

"I'll spin first!" Lilia announced. She placed her hand on the bottle, took a deep breath, and spun it. The bottle stopped spinning. Finn. 

"Oh" Finn said softly. It wasn't disappointment or excitement in his tone, it was more like relief. 

Jaeden was definitely not ok. They could only imagine what was going through his mind, he practically gave up his friends for a girl who change her mind about him any second of the day if he didn't show her attention 24/7. Reality hit Jaeden like a truck, he made a huge mistake.

Lilia was leaning in for the kiss when..

"Stop!" Jaeden exclaimed causing Finn to jerk back and let out a breath of relief.

"I'm so sorry Sophia." Jaeden said with his eyes softening. Sophia was taken back, as was Maddie. "Maddie's been a massive bitch to you this whole time and I've just been siding with her because I liked Lilia." Jaeden said so softly almost nobody could hear him. "I almost lost a girl who actually cared for me, to one who didn't give two shits." He said slightly raising his voice and looking straight at Lilia who gave a slight gasp.

Sophia was left speechless.

"Alright let's just spin again." Maddie spoke up. 

The bottle spun and of course, it landed on Sophia.

"I don't think I should" She said leaning closer to Wyatt.

"Don't be a fucking baby." Lilia said with a tone that nobody had heard in her voice before. 

Sophia's mouth was dry, she reached for the bottle but somebody whispered in her ear. "You don't have to do this." 

She knew exactly who it was.

Sophia just took a deep breath and spun it.

It stopped and landed on, Jaeden.

You could hear a pin drop. Sophia looked at Wyatt who refused to meet her eyes, she looked at Maddie who had an evil smirk on her face as always, then last she looked at Jaeden who had lost puppy eyes. She felt like she would faint.
