We all stepped out of the van, the valet gave us a weird look seeing our form of transportation. I couldn't help but laugh when when Chosen handed him the rental keys and the valet frowned.
The restaurant was gorgeous. It was definitely a high class establishment judging by the way people were dressed. Middle aged women with cups of champagne and trays filled with the freshest clams. I held onto Wyatt's arm, feeling out of place.
"We're gonna get such cute pictures." Millie squealed shaking Jack who seemed just as excited.
In the corner of my eye I saw Finn and Sadie talking up a storm. I definitely supported that 10 times more than I supported him and Lilia.
I nudged Wyatt's arm and pointed at Finn and Sadie. He smirked and crossed his arms. He caught Finn's attention and gave him a thumbs up which caused Finn to flip him off.
"Right this way." The hostess said leading us to our table. I held onto Wyatt's hand, making sure I stayed close and didn't bump into anything, knowing myself.
When we sat down Wyatt leaned into my ear whispering, oh so softly.
"I know I keep telling you this, but you look perfect."I blushed and gave him a quick kiss. Luckily nobody noticed and if they did they were not gonna ruin our honeymoon phase.
The seating went as following.
On one side:
Wyatt, me, Sadie, Finn
On the other side
Jack, Millie, Jaeden, Jeremy and Chosen on the end.
The seating was perfect, Millie was right across Sadie and I, and she was jokingly bonding with Jack about how their best friends both ditched them to be with each other.
I laughed everytime they pretended like Finn and Sadie couldn't hear them.
"Yeah, it's crazy how 5 years of being besties and they just go off with their new love." Jack said to Millie.
"Jack, cmon." Finn said with an annoyed face.
"Wait- is that a traitor fly? Ew, it's so annoying." Jack exclaimed causing the whole table to erupt in laughter.
Jack smiled and blew a kiss at Finn who ended up laughing himself.
"Love you finny poo." He joked. Finn rolled his eyes and continued talking to Sadie.
I looked at Wyatt who looked oddly sad.
I tugged at his sleeve and I clearly got him in a thought.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked playing with his hand under the table.
He smiled, and nodded. While I wasn't convinced I let it go.
The waitress came over and took our drinks.
"Could I have a pellegrino, please?" I asked. She nodded and wrote it down.
Everyone else ordered and she came back shortly with our drinks and took our orders.
Everything looked delicious but I ultimately went with the house salad. It looked amazing. Wyatt ordered a steak and I knew I'd be having some of his food ;).
"Ok guys, it's been a long journey with ups and downs, but we are finally here, in San francisco!" Chosen exclaimed and everybody cheered.
I noticed Wyatt kept looking at his phone as if he was waiting for something.
I felt this weird sensation run through my body of uncertainty I'd never felt before.
The conversation was lively. We talked about our plans in San Francisco, IT chapter 2, and upcoming projects. There was an unspoken sadness when we talked about acting, knowing after this trip and chapter 2 we wouldn't see each other as frequently.
After It chapter 2, that was it. No more filming, sleepovers, press, meet and greets. It was the end of an era.
Wyatt and I lived across the country from each other. I felt my heart speed up and the sense of uncertainty strengthened.
Stop Soph, enjoy this, enjoy every single moment you have with them.
"You okay there Soph?" Finn asked clearly noticing my state of panic.
I quickly nodded and introduced myself back to the conversation.
"So after chapter 2 are you guys gonna hang out as much?" Millie asked making everybody go silent.
"Oh shit, that was depressing. Sorry!" She said quickly.
"No it's fine. We'll try to see each other as much as we can. We still have a long way to go though." Jeremy laughed.
Millie nodded and smiled, feeling guilty.
The food finally arrived and everybody was about to dig in when Finn raised his glass.
"To the best friendship anybody could ask for."
Everyone awed and raised their glass. The uncertainty left, but not for long. It would be back. Wyatt was quiet and visibly uncomfortable.
I gave him a kiss on the cheek hoping I could get a smile out of him. Little luck.
"I love you." I said softly. He gave me a sad and tired smile. "I've always loved you." He said in return now with a real smile on his face. I rested my head on his shoulder, hoping this moment would never end.
NEXT ONE IS THE LAST ONE!! thank you guys for supporting this story and recognizing my love for Wyatt and Sophia. One more! Comment your reactions and tell me If you liked this chapter💕💞
