"Ellie? Are you home?"

No! God No.. What's he doing here?

He stopped our kiss and looked curiously at me.

"What?" I whispered.

"Who the fuck is that?"

"It doesn't matter." I said, turning away from him.

"Ellie, who the fuck is that at your door?" He said, pointing behind him towards my door.

"Dean." I sighed.

"Who the hell is Dean?"

"An.. EX of mine."

"So what's he doing here?" He said, looking more angry now.

"How the bloody hell should I know." I said, my voice getting louder.

"I know you're in there, Ellie. I can hear you." Dean said.

I sighed in annoyance. He had perfect timing, I'll give him that. I went to my front door and reluctantly opened it.

"What do you want, Dean?" I said, trying to keep myself calm.

"I needed to see you and talk to you."

"Well I don't want to see or talk to you."

"Ellie, plea-"

"NO," I said, cutting him off. I'd had enough of his excuses. If he loved me like he claimed, then he wouldn't have hurt me the way he did.

"Leave me alone, Dean."

"I'm not leaving until you talk to me." He said, taking a step into my apartment, making me step back into Sam, not realising he was right behind me.

"I suggest you do as the lady says, Dean." Sam said glaring at him.

"Who the hell are you?" Dean said, raising a brow in curiosity.

"It doesn't matter who I am, but she's told you she doesn't want to talk to you, so get fu*k out of here before I do something I'll regret."

He took hold of my hand and in that moment, I felt safe. I know what Dean's like, but Sam doesn't.

He looked at our hands and took a step back. "Fine. But I'll be back, Ellie. Mark my words. This isn't over." And with that he left, slamming the door behind him, making me jump at the sound.

I turned round and wrapped my arms around him and he hugged me back. Neither of us said anything for a while, but he finally broke the silence.

"What did he do to you?" He said, leaning back so he could see my face.

Wow, he doesn't beat around the bush does he?

"It doesn't matter." I said, turning my head away from him.

He placed a finger under my chin and turned my head to face him, he kissed me softly before he spoke again.

"He hurt you, didn't he?" He said quietly, almost a whisper.

I felt tears start to fall from my eyes, and I bit my lip to try and stop myself from crying. "I said it doesn't matter." I said, pulling myself away from him and walking over to the couch. He was close behind me, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Clearly it does, otherwise you wouldn't be crying."

"Fine, it matters, okay," I said turning and facing him. "But it's in the past. What's done is done."
