It was the day. The day everyone was waiting for. The day everyone saw coming. That's right. Today was the wedding. The wedding of King Jack Atlas and the discreet and intelligent villager who caught his heart, Yusei Fudo. Everyone swooned over the news and absolutely adored the royal couple.

Jack was sweating and his followers were doing everything they could to stop his nervousness. "That's it! I'm done with your nervousness!" Dragan, the treasurer, shouted as he slapped his King across the face. Jack soon regained his sanity after the slap. "Thank you. I was losing myself there for a second." Jack thanked as he wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief. "Now let's actually get you ready for this." Kiryu said as they began helping Jack dress for his wedding.

As for Yusei, he wasn't hard to handle. "Goodness! You don't cause a fuss unlike Jack." Carly, one of Yusei's soon-to-be maids, stated as she straightened out his dress. "Yeah." Yusei said as he watched the veil be attached to his hair. "You look beautiful!" Ruka, another maid, praised. "Thank you." Yusei thanked. He was ready for the wedding.

The bells soon rang and people lined the streets. Young girls with baskets filled with flowers and older women with prayer charms were patiently waiting for the carriage that was carrying Yusei. Meanwhile at the church, Jack and his household were waiting on him. "Where is this Yusei boy, Jack? I grow impatient." Kaiba asked. "Be patient, Kaiba. Besides we're in a church." Jose said.

Soon a white carriage came down the street. "The Queen has arrived!" A young girl shouted. All the villagers started throwing flowers and the older women held out their prayer charms. The church bells rang and several doves were released by two servant boys named Rua and Lucciano. "Next job is ring bearing." Lucciano reminded his frenemy. Rua sighed. "At least we're not carrying the cake." He muttered as he released more doves.

Hakaze, Yusei's father, was waiting for him at the church doorsteps. "I'm so happy for you, my son. Me and your mother." Hakaze stated as he lock arms with his son and walked him down the aisle. "Thank you, father." Yusei thanked. The flower girls were having so much fun throwing flowers. It made Yusei happy that he could have a wedding in his village. Harald, Dragan's diva wife, was twirling his hair around his finger. Yugi, a friend of his and the wife of Jack's advisor and wizard, stepped on his foot. "Ow!" Harald yelped. "Stop playing with your hair and focus on the Queen." Yugi commanded.

"We are gathered here today to unite two souls within this holy church blessed by our God, the mighty Crimson Dragon." The minister stated. "Jack Walter Atlas, son of King Charles Atlas and Queen Asteria Atlas and King of the Atlas Kingdom, do you swear fidelity, trust, fairness, and love to Yusei Kizuna Fudo, son of Hakaze Fudo and Rumiko Fudo?" He asked. "I do." Jack firmly and honestly answered. "And do you, Yusei Kizuna Fudo, swear fidelity, trust, fairness, and love to King Jack Walter Atlas, son of King Charles Atlas and Queen Asteria Atlas?" The minister asked as he turned to Yusei. "I do." Yusei replied with a warm and loving smile as he also responded to his husband grasping his hands tightly. Jack smiled back which made Yusei slightly blush a little.

"In the name of the holy Crimson Dragon, I now pronounce you King and Queen. You may know kiss the bride." The minister finished as Yusei jumped into Jack's arms and kissed him. Everyone cheered before most of the men and semes who were present formed a group. "How about I throw the bouquet for you, my Queen?" Jack asked as he hugged his beloved him the back. "Of course." Yusei replied as he handed his husband the bouquet.

Jack threw it as far as he could and it landed in Brave's arms. "It's mine!" Zarc, one of Jack's knights, yelled. "No!" The others yelled as they started arguing over the bouquet. Jose looked in disappointment. "Why must Jack put his faith in them if they cannot even share a bouquet?" He asked himself. As the royal couple headed outside, they were greeted by more flowers being thrown and villagers offering gifts. "We thank you all for your kindness. I also want to thank you, Mr. Fudo and Mrs. Fudo for allowing me to marry your son." Jack thanked as he face-to-face with his wife's parents. "No. Thank you, Jack. Without that selection, our star would've never found the one that would make him happy." Rumiko, Yusei's mother, thanked. "Please take care of our son." Hakaze pleaded. Jack nodded before the royal carriage pulled up.

"Queens first." Jack said as he opened the door for him. Before Yusei could step inside, he heard a voice call him. "Yusei!" Another voice called. It was his friends Blitz, Tank, Nervin, and Rally. "Are you really leaving us?" Rally asked with tears in his eyes. "Yes. But I promise I'll come back to visit." Yusei replied as he wiped his friend's tears. "And that's a promise I'll make sure he'll keep." Jack said. "Well before you go, take these." Nervin said as he handed Yusei a velvet box and a few more items. "Thank you. I'll miss you." Yusei thanked as his tears began to form.

Yusei hugged his friends and his parents one last time before they left. "Bye everyone! I promise I'll come visit you!" Yusei shouted as he waved his village goodbye. "Jack, did you really mean that you would help me keep my promise?" He asked as he cuddled with his husband. "Of course. I have very good memory after all." Jack replied as he cupped his wife's face. "Yusei, I'll give you the greatest reign of your life." Jack whispered as he kissed Yusei. The uke kissed back. This was the start of a royal life.
