I finally wake up, but I wasn't next to a warm, cozy fire like I was dreaming about. Instead the snowy wind still fills my vision. The numbness in my body went away and I begin to realize the warmth I felt against me. I look up, seeing a man with dressed in black with black and white hair and a stern gaze. His expression is filled with concentration, and I notice the scar that reaches all the way down the left side of his face.

He held me tightly in his arms as he trudged through the storm just as I did before. This guy doesn't look much better off than I am to be honest. I just hope that we can get out of this before he kills himself trying to save me.

"Hey," I try to say, but all that comes out was an inaudible whisper.

He seems to feel me move anyway, because he looks down and notices I'm alive.

"Urgh..." the man focuses forward again, fighting against the wind.

"I want some hot cocoa (◞‸◟)," I hear a little girl groan from below me. Who the hell are these two and why are they up here??

I feel the rumble of the man's low voice against his chest, "Come on, we're almost there."

Almost where? I hope he's not lying to his child to make her feel better. Before I could trying speaking again, this guy stops right in his tracks and looks around. I listen closely and I could hear the buzzing of a snowmobile in the far distance.

I smile, grateful that someone with actual transportation can help us, but my happiness subsides as I see the grim expression on his face.

I gasp and grip onto him as he suddenly breaks out into a sprint. I trust that he has some sort of reason not to trust them.

He quickly sets me down near some bushes besides this little girl and runs away. Once he returns his long trench coat is missing, and he crouches next to us watching the distance carefully. I guess he has some sort of plan to avoid some bad guys.

"Hi, I'm Pinoko!" The little girl says as she gives me a warm smile.

"(Y/N)" I say, crossing my legs and studying this cute being.

"Don't worry! Doc knows what he's doing."

I smile, but my thoughts were disrupted by a series of gunshots firing close to us. I turn around and see 'Doc' immediately start running towards the noise. Is he sure he know's what the hell he's doing!?

I sit up and watch through the bush as he jumps out at a red headed girl, punching her right in the face. She drops the gun and falls to the ground as he runs back to us. Before I can stand, he swoops me up and Pinoko follows right behind. We all get on the snowmobile and floor it right past her.

I look behind, watching as the red head runs after us. She pulls out a whip, and somehow anchors herself to the vehicle, holding on as it drags her across the snow.

"Uhh, guys..." I say as a warning when she pulls out yet another weapon. The woman throws a sharp spinning knife right at the man's head, but he tilts to the side and it flings right past him.

"Get ready," He says just loud enough for me and the little girl between us to hear. Looking ahead there was a cliff coming up pretty quickly.

"Oh, shit" I mumble and hold onto Pinoko ready to do the craziest thing I've ever done in my life.

I feel the friction of the snow leave the skis of the snowmobile as it flies through the air. A huge drop shown straight below us. The man jumps off, grabbing my arm and pulling me in the process. Pinoko screams as we fling off to the side, landing in the piles of snow just out of reach from the huge explosion.

I bounce a few times, finally landing on my back with a groan. I try to lift my head up but it hurts too much. I look over and see the man in black struggle to rise.

"Pinoko," he shakes the small being lightly. "Oi, Pinoko!"

"...Ohmigewdness,"she mumbles as relief clearly shows on his face.

He looks over to me, seeing me holding my head. "Are you alright?"

"...Holy fuck. I can't believe we just did that." Apparently that was the right answer because he actually let out a small chuckle.

He gets up and walks towards the burning pile of scrap, probably to see if that girl survived. I manage to sit up, ignoring the shooting pain. I'm actually able to see the mutilated body from here.
(Yes I made it so Benitokage actually dies here, sue me)

"Err-" I hold my lower chest as the pain becomes unbearable. I lay back down and close my eyes, hoping it would subside but it was to no avail. Did I break a rib or something? Every breath is suddenly agony and I don't know why. I didn't notice that the man had kneeled beside me until he started to feel my ribs. Once his hand so much as glides across the broken rib threatening to poke through my skin, I cry out in pain.

"AAArrrgh!!" Yeah m-my fucking rib is broken! Stop touching it!" I gasp as my outburst just made it hurt more. I wanted to punch something so badly, but instead tears ran down the side of my face as I anticipated more pain.

He ignores what I say and feels around the area, putting pressure on the misplaced ribs so that they would force back in place.

"Hng-!" They finally pop right back into place. Once his hands move away I hold the area, digging my fingers into my skin to try and relieve the pain. It doesn't really feel much better, but I didn't expect it to. I quickly wiped my face and struggled to sit up, feeling the rib ends grind against each other with every movement. He picks me up again, though I could probably walk, and we continue on.

The storm is still as strong as ever. I can tell that its getting harder and harder for him to walk, until he finally drops to his knees. I purposefully roll out of his arms and try to stand. I struggle but manage, and I try to pull the doctor back onto his feet.

"Doc!!" Pinoko yelled. "We're almost there I can see it!"

He stands, putting some weight on me, and I help him keep walking until a small cabin finally comes into view.
