Admission

        "urrg" firdausi groaned as she reached for her ringing alarm. it was time for subh and she was finding it difficult to leave her bed.

       It took her about ten minutes to finally leave her bed, she lazily dragged herself to the bathroom and cleaned up after which she performed wudhu. she prayed subh and went back to bed.

       "fifi" her sister sakina called

"whaat?? "she yelled

    "mum said you should wake up and clean up, breakfast is ready "

     "ok"

Sakina gave her one last glance before going out.

    "Mtswww " she hissed before finally leaving her bed. She entered the bathroom again and took a shower, brushed and combed her hair. She walked back to the room and dressed up after applying some powder and lip gloss. She wore a black straight gown and a silver turban.

      "Fifi Ina kwana " Hauwa the house maid greeted her.

     "lfy" she replied with a smile and moved to the dining area.

    "i thought you were not coming for breakfast " Ahmad her senior brother said

      She smiled and settled down.

  "assalamu alaykum" her dad called entering the dining area.

   "wa alaykumu salam" they all replied.

     "abba Ina kwana " they all greeted one by one

     "lfy my children, how was your night? "

      "Alhamdulilah "

"Masha Allah "

        "firdausi " her dad called making her to look up

     "Na'am abba "

   I will be going to collect your admission letter today insha Allah, a friend of mine called yesterday night and told me you got the admission so i will get it today" he said with a smile.

     "Alhamdulilah "her mom said and all she could do was smile.

      "abba na gode "she said happily.

     "I should be the one thanking you for making me proud "he said and she laughed.

       They ate their meal peacefully with silence all through. After breakfast firdausi went back to her room and started sorting out her clothes. Her mom has sown new clothes for her as part of the preparation for her admission.

     "ringgggggggg"her phone rang and she picked. It was sa'ada.

    "hello girlfriend "sa'ada's voice came through.

     "Heyy"

"Pls can we meet"

     "yeah sure why not"

   "Kk I'll come over"

   "alright bye "

She dropped the phone and went downstairs to tell Hauwa about her visitor so she can cook something up.
