New Friend

      Today is Firdausi's first day in school and she can't keep calm.

     "don't go and get lost oo, you know BUK is very big" Ahmad teased.

    "Mtswww,do i look as confused as you"

        "somebody is helping your life now oo"

      "I don't need your help, if i need help I'll call dad"

          "fifi hurry up and leave this house"her mom called from the kitchen

          "yes please leave this house "Ahmad said laughing

     "I don't have your time"she said going upstairs to dress up. She wore a Blue skirt and it's top class completing the dressing with a talha.

"mummy am leaving " she called out to her mom who was still in the kitchen with Hauwa

       "zo nan"

"gani"

     "make sure you do what you are there to do, don't allow yourself to get distracted by all those boys because i know you are beautiful"

          "muuummmmy!!!"she said covering her face

    "it's true now"

  "am getting late "

        "be going, Allah ya miki albarka"

     "Ameen"she said and sauntered out of the kitchen

  She took her matrix and sped out of her father's compound. She was so eager and anxious, today is her first day in university.

       She parked in front of the law faculty and walked to the academic office, it wasn't difficult to find because she has been there with her dad before.

       She collected her course outline and moved on to find the hall her lecture was going to take place. It was half empty so she moved around comfortably and found herself a good seat by the window.

       "Pls can i sit here?"someone asked bringing her out of her thoughts.she looked up and so a girl of her age smiling

     "yeah sure please help yourself "

         "tnx"

   "you are welcome"

  "am zahra tijjani"

      "am firdausi but you can call me Fifi"

    "nice name"

"oh please yours is sweeter, I have a cousin zahra and she is also very beautiful just like you. She also wears glasses"

        "that's cool, speaking of beauty have you seen yourself"

   They chatted on and on until the lecture started, the course was property law and the lecturer whose name was abba abba was big and stern looking.

        After the lectures Fifi and zahra walked out of the hall and moved to the parking lot.

      "give me your number before i forget"fifi said

         "my phone got stolen yesterday at a wedding i attended with my mom buh I'll get yours then call you later"

     "no problem"

   "so who is taking you home?"

        "I drive "

"lucky you, i just wish my brother will allow me but he refuse because of my eye problem"

    "you should be happy for having such a caring brother"fifi said while zahra just laughed.

      Just then fifi's phone rang and she picked it was her mom,they spoke about her lecture and she told her to come home.

     "I really have to go, mom's orders"

    "alright see you tomorrow "

  "who is taking you home? "

"my brother is coming "

      "alright bye"

She got home and met her dad already back from work, she greeted him and he asked about her day.

   "it was great. Alhamdulilah "

"Toh mun gode allah"

   She walked upstairs and heard voices from her mother's room.

        VISITORS!!

     She silently moved to her room and slumped on her bed.

   HELL OF A DAY!!!
