Chapter 5: A Day Out

Aizawa and All Might had been working tirelessly, sorting through records and registration forms for quirks, looking at which quirks could possibly belong to the prankster, anything related to age, regression, time manipulation...anything and everything along those lines essentially. But there are so many quirks, they have only paged through about half of the registrations and already have a suspect list of twenty seven people. Sighing but they continued to work.

Deku had gotten dressed in his uniform again, this being the only thing that fit him properly, he was picked up by Todoroki, Uraraka and Iida.

"Good morning Deku-kun" Uraraka greeted cheerfully

"Good morning Onee-san!" Deku replied

"GOOD MORNING MIDORIYA!" Iida said loudly, perhaps trying to be funny or worried that he has not been in Deku's spotlight as much as everyone else

"Good morning!" Deku said again, still as happy and energetic as ever.

Deku then turned his gaze to Todoroki, who up until now had remained silent, waiting for his chance to greet Midoriya. In his calm voice, tinged with gentleness, Todoroki extended his hand.

"Good morning, Midoriya. Are you ready to go?"

Reaching for the kind hand, Deku happily smiled.

"All ready Todo-nii!"

Todoroki was surprised by his sudden name change, but also feeling happy, enough that in this stage, Deku could look up to him as a cool big brother! Or at least that's what he believed... Being the youngest sibling of his family, he was the one always looking up to the older siblings and now it feels as if he has someone looking up to him. Feeling honoured by this role.

Todoroki said "I'll do my best!"

Everyone looked a bit confused and then began laughing at Todoroki's accidental slip of his thoughts.

Slightly blushing, and still holding Midoriya's hand, they began walking and their field trip to the park.

Soon arriving at the park, Deku excitedly runs ahead of everyone. Running around and rolling on the grass, the whole time laughing his heart out. The last few days have been crazy, but even so. It seems all the fear that was there is replaced with happiness and his wonder.

Everyone smiles at his carefree smile, his playing with no worries or fear of tomorrow. Thinking back, even though he had laughed and smiled as his usual self, somehow his laughter was always clouded over with a secret worry of the day to come.

Seeing him like this, brightened everyone's day.

"Midoriya!" Iida calls him as he walks over

"Are you ready to see our quirks?" He asks, smiling and overbearing in a friendly manner.

"Yes!!!" Deku shouts back, almost as if he were waiting for that exact question.

"Very good!" Iida said, kneeling down

"Climb aboard!" Iida continued his sentence with a mini salute, almost like a conductor for a train

Deku was slightly confused, but he held onto Iida, expecting a regular piggyback

"Hold on Midoriya" Iida warns as he feels Deku's arms tighten around his shoulders

Taking off with tremendous speed, Iida begins running using his quirk 'Engine' He becomes running faster and faster, Deku is wide eyed and thrilled! His initial little gasp of surprise was replaced with unbelievable laughter.

Taking a few laps, Iida finally came to a stop as he gently set Deku down.

Intrigued and hyped up from the thrill of going so fast, Deku is mumbling incoherently as he pulls out his little notebook, frantically taking notes and he moves around Iida, asking hundreds of questions which Iida, answered proudly.
