Chapter 9 : Growing Pains

A breath of relief fills the room, even though it's been fun having all the adorable children around, everyone was still concerned for the unforeseen consequences that could have come from this.

Although everyone is less tense, feeling the lighter atmosphere all the kids seem to be feeling even happier than they were before.

Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Kirishima, Bakugo and Deku all decided to continue playing, trying to rope in their fellow classmates for a round or two of heroes and villains, of course to appease the little ones, they were the heroes along with Ashido, Tsuyu, Tokoyami and Hagakure. Leaving Mineta, Aoyama, Oijiro, Kaminari, Koda, Sato, Shoji, Jiro, Sero and Yaoyorozu as the villains.

After countless rounds, including one with All Might as a villain, everyone was tired and ready for bed. However, the kids were all still just as energetic as ever.

But understanding the importance of 'bed times' they let everyone leave and decided to entertain themselves, walking back to Deku's room all of them sit around, devising which game to play next.

"Heroes and Villains was so much fun!" Kirishima states, energetically performing some of the most dramatic moments of their game.

Bakugo laughs, everyone seems to stop and look at him... even though they don't remember him, even they think; that him laughing and smiling so happily without anger is weird.

"What you looking at huh!?" He says noticing everyone's curious gazes

This just offset a lot of laughter, meanwhile Todoroki sat quietly, with a little smile and Iida began sharing stories of his big brother while racing around.

Deku began talking about some of his favourite heroes, everyone started talking about them.

"L-let's all do our best to be like them!" Uraraka stated shyly as she raised her fist in the air

"Yeah!! Like a real man!" Kirishima joined in her victory cheer of inspiration

"I'll be number one!!!" Bakugo shouted above everyone

"Let's do our best everyone!" Iida speaks up joining them

"Let's do it..." Todoroki says quietly but with a smile

"We can do it!" Deku stated

"Let's make a promise to be the best pro heroes ever!!" Kirishima states

Everyone joins in on this promise.

Locking pinkies to be the best heroes they can be.

They began acting out some of their future missions and rescues, showing off their quirks as they play out various scenes from fighting villains to saving the damsel in distress. In this case, Uraraka using one of Deku's shirts as a dress, was the damsel in distress as Iida and Kirishima acted as the villains, Todoroki, Bakugo and Deku entered with a dramatic entrance and in perfect unison...

"I am here!!" The three said as they commenced their rescue mission.

Falling down, laughing from their mission, a very brief silence falls upon the room...Until some slight grumbling noises came from the group.

They laugh at that as well when Kirishima looks over at Todoroki.

"Todoroki can you make snow cones?? Or ice cream?" Kirishima excitedly asks; his eyes twinkling in pure curiosity

Todoroki tilts his head both in confusion and surprise, he's never been asked such a thing.

"I can try..." He replies shyly

Running to the kitchen, Bakugo and Iida return with cups they can use.

Everyone gathers around, antsy with curiosity. Todoroki begins with a light cold wind which begins forming some ice, making an ice ball.

They all sat around eating their snow cone/ ice ball after thanking Todoroki who seemed to be happy and slightly bashful that it didn't work out exactly the way he wanted. Everyone still enjoyed it though.

"Maybe next time we can freeze some juice and make popsicles!!" Deku suggests

Everyone laughs and agrees.

The rambunctious bunch continues to play and talk, laugh and attempt random experiments using everyone's quirks until late.

Oijiro and Tsuyu had woken up and decided to check up on the little ones, walking into the room they see all of them huddled together and sleeping peacefully. Some snoring, others mumbling. They all slept peacefully, not wanting to wake them, Tsuyu gently pulls a blanket over the sleeping bunch and they leave the little ones to rest.

The morning comes quickly with invading light pouring into the room, the rest of the dorm residents had woken up and were mostly lazing around, going about their day. Everyone just doing their own thing when suddenly, out of nowhere. Panicked screaming arises, the source being Deku's room...
