Chapter 6

~Hayes~

Brit was crying afterwards, i took her up to our room and we just lied in bed. I was rubbing circles on her back, trying to calm her dow, "Shhhhh babe its okay, your fine" i whispered, "Im s-sorry, H-hayes, I didnt k-know that was g-gonna happen. i c-cause so m-much trouble" she said, "Its okay you didnt know, go to sleep babe. We'll do something together, just us two. Okay?" i said to her, her breathing was soon slowing down to a normal pace. "Okay" she whispered. I felt so bad that she had to go through this. I heard her even breath, so i knew she was asleep. I then heard a knock on the door. "Its open" i said, The person that came in was carter. "Hey dude, is she okay? she isnt hurt?" he asked, i shook my head no. "Alright, im going to let you two be" he said walking out. "Goodnight" i said, "...Goodnight" he replied. he walked out and closed the door behind him. soon i started to get tired, my eyes got heavy. "I love you" i whispered to her, she cuddled deeper into me. soon i was falling into an endless pit of peaceful darkness, and that endless pit we call sleep.

I cant believe it.... How did they know she just got out of the hospital? how did they know she was in the woods? were they stalking us this whole time? What had ever happened to nick? I lied in bed next to a sleeping Sam. I got up from bed to go to the kitchen to get a glass of water. as i walked down the stairs I heard some movements coming from the living room. i quietly went back up and grabbed my bat, i went back downstairs, and tip toed into the living room, i saw a dark figure moving around the living room, I slowly went over to the light switch and switched on the light, I saw it was hayes, "WTF HAYES! YOU HAD ME SCARED THAT SOMEONE BROKE IN THE HOUSE!!!" i yelled, "SORRY I WAS LOOKING FOR MY PHONE! I LEFT IT DOWN HERE ON ACCIDENT!!" he said while looking throughout the couch. i rolled my eyes and put my bat down, i went to the kitchen and grabbed my water. I went back to check on hayes, and he was still looking for it. "Do you need help?" i asked, "please?" he said looking at me giving me the puppy eyes. "Where did you last see it?" i said putting my glass down and walking over to him. So that was what my night consisted of, laying in bed thinking and helping hayes find his phone. No sleep at all.
