Chapter 8

~Courtney~

After i read it i dropped my phone. That was when Leigh came into the room. "Courtney are you alright?" she asked, i recovered from my shock and picked up my phone and gave it to her, once she read it she looked at me with wide eyes. "Court! we need to show this to the police!" she said. "They are watching us leigh! What are we suppose to do?! We cant show the police or someone is gonna get hurt again!" i yelled not knowing what to do. I paced around the room then fell face first onto my bed.

"Courtney we have to show them or their never gonna get caught!" she said, "I know... its just that i dont want to lose anyone.... i just want to know who the heck are the ones who arent on our side!" i said, still laying on my bed. Thats when my phone got a call, i looked up and saw Leigh had picked it up. "Hello?" she said, i heard slight mumbling in the background. "No this is Leigh" she replied. then i waited again. "Omg, were on our way!" she replied then ended the call. 

"What happened?" i asked worried. "Dillon almost got killed at the house?" she said, "By who?" i asked, "By..... Britney..." she said, I looked at her in disbelief. "Why in the hells name would she do that?!" i yelled while we were walking out of the hotel room. "I dont know, she doesnt even know herself." she responded. We got to the car and drove over to the house. 

Once we got there we barged in to see some of the guys helping Dillon while the others were taking brit to another room. I went over to dillon to see he looked fine. "How did she almost kill him?" i asked, "She almost shot him in the head, but luckily Taylor Pushed him out of the way and it shot the wall behind us." said Jack G. 

I l;ooked behind them to see a little bullet sized hole in the wall. "Why would she do that? She isnt one of them is she?" i asked, "No because why would they kidnap her and then torture her if she were" said Sam. "Let me go check on her, ill have hayes and mikaylah come with me." i said, Sam then kissed my cheek and said, "Be Safe and Careful." i nodded and got mikaylah since hayes was already up there

I went straight into britneys room since thats where they were keeping her. "We took the gun away from her" said nash. "Okay" i said, i alked over to her and sat down next to her, she was holding her legs up against herself and held her head in her hands. "Brit look at me," i whispered gently. She looked up to see who it was and when she opened her eyes i saw something different in them. She had specks of gold in her eyes that she never had before. 

"Courtney... i dont know what got into me.... it was an accident." she said while crying, hayes sat on her other side while Mikaylah sat infront of her. "Britney explain to Courtney exactly what you remember happening at that moment?" Mikaykah said. "u-uh i-i was ju-just finishing packing d-d-d-downstairs when for s-s-some reason i had a small head ache.... thoes always happen to me so i didnt th-think much about i-it , that was then m-my vision started to become r-redish....

i just had a gun in my bag for safety measures ever since what happened..... Then suddenly my whole vision turned red, i could s-still see e-eve-everyone... b-but i could move a single muscle in my b-body... after s-something in me pushed the trigger, i went back to normal...." she explained while controling her tears. I looked over at Hayes the to Mikaylah, "Has this happend at all since Leigh and I were gone?" i asked, "No just this once" Hayes replied shaking his head. 

I then got a text, i pulled out my phone to check it, it was the blocked number again.... "I see you figured out 1 person.... Lets just say.... we injected her with something.... plus with a microchip that is now flowing through her bloodstream... and it will be stuck at her heart. We now have the power to control her actions...... so watch out :) See you soon Courtney & Friends!" after reading it outloud everyone looked at me with wide eyes. 

"SO THEY INJECTED ME WITH SOME SORT OF LIQUID THAT ALSO CONTIANED A TRACKING MICROCHIP?!?" She yelled, crying even harder. "WHAT DO WE DO?!" Hayes yelled. "I-I-I DONT KNOW?! WE NEED TO FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!!!" i yelled not knowing what to do. "Lets tell the others first" Mikaylah said. We all nodded and went downstair to everyone on the couch.

We told them everything and i handed my phone around for everone to see the texts. "Sam, did you pack my emergency stuff?" i asked him. "Yeah i did in two big duffel bags." he said pointing to them by the door. "Okay we are all gonna need that when we get to the hotel." i said. Everyone nodded and we all started to pack to leave for the hotel. I got a call saying that the police came right after we left the house so they could investigate. 

When we got to the hotel we went to whatever room with whoever we wanted. I just jumped into bed with sam following beside me, when we got under the covers we just held each other. "Why... why does it have to be us?" i whispered. "It will all get better Courtney... we can push through... this is only a obstacle in our course.... we can pull through this... together..." he whispered back gently... small tears were going one by one down my face.... I soon became tired and fell asleep
