Headcanon about Akutagawa and his s/o, when they have matching tattoos on their wrist, that begin to burn when their s/o is near

A/N: I won't be describing a tattoo bc I think that when it comes to such things, everyone's taste is different and it's impossible to find smth that will satisfy everyone so I'll just leave it up to your imagination

•Ok so I think, that at first Akutagawa wouldn't be as hyped as other people to find his s/o.

•I mean, he's a Mafia member, he has quite a complicated past and his life now is not less difficult than before so he just has other things to worry about rather than love. At least, it's what he thinks.

•However, sometimes, he looked at the tattoo and wondered what does the person he's destined to be with look like. And he wondered what personality do they have because he honestly couldn't imagine someone who could be happy with him. He knows that he's a complicated person and honestly...he feels sorry for his s/o because they'll have to face all the difficulties about his character.

•Usually, that was all he thought about, when it came to this topic. He never allowed himself to think much about destiny or love because he considered such things as a distraction from training and work.

•And this all continued up until one day, he was walking in the city center after finishing a mission, when he suddenly felt a slight burning sensation on his wrist.

•At first, he brushed it off, thinking that maybe he's just mistaking this feeling with something else, but soon, the tattoo started to burn more.

•However, he still didn't pay attention to it and just continued walking further while the sensation was burning more and more until suddenly, someone bumped into him from behind.

•And that person turned out to be you, his s/o, who was so distracted with the tattoo so that you didn't even notice where you were walking.

•Akutagawa turned around to you and once your eyes met for the first time...the sensation suddenly stopped, that could only mean that you two have finally found each other.

•Poor boy, would be totally clueless as to how he was supposed to react. One part of him wanted to hide somewhere or run away because everything was just happening too suddenly and quickly, but his other part wanted to stay and give you a chance because when he saw your widened beautiful eyes, filled with hope and brightness, he'd feel as the most horrible person if he made these eyes fill with tears and sadness later.

•He wouldn't even be able to explain why he was feeling like this.

•That's why, you'd probably have to start the conversation with an awkward "hi" or something like that.

•Akutagawa would reply as awkwardly with something like "Hi...so are you my soulmate?" and he'd kinda feel stupid after that because he couldn't come up with anything better.

•He'd also ask you to show him your tattoo to make sure that you have matching ones and once he sees that it's true, he has no doubts left that you two are soulmates.

•You'd probably have to be the first one to ask for his name or try to start a conversation because he's horrible with such things, when it comes to regular people (unless it's threatening or when he has to keep that mask of a heartless port Mafia dog) and you're not one of them: you're his s/o.

•However, the conversation will soon develop quite quickly and he will be surprised at how easy it was to talk to you. He'd just feel as if you two are already old friends.

•That's why, while talking you two will then start walking and eventually, your encounter will end up with a nice walk around the city as you two would feel a mutual will to get to know each other better (even though, Akutagawa will still try to act all cool and tough but it would be pretty obvious that he's into you as well)

•I guess that it's needless to say, that by the end of that day, he'll find himself wanting to meet you again~
