Sorry I suck at summaries. Which is why I hardly ever do them...

Pic to the side is of the kid. I felt like drawing him so I thought I'd share it with you guys ^_^

Please read the A/N at the end if you've put in a request but I haven't written it yet. It kinda explains a few things.

This one is going to be quite a bit more cheerful than most of my other one-shots. I figured you guys were sick of all the depressing shit.

----------------------------------------------------------------

It was a bright, sunny April day in London. The trees danced in the slight breeze that blew, and a lot of people were out enjoying the pleasant weather. The occupants of one household in particular, however, were still indoors. They were getting ready to go to the park for a picnic, just the three of them.

One of the members of this household, a certain Ciel Phantomhive, was in the kitchen, packing all of the food for the family's little outing. He was almost finished when his husband, Alois Phantomhive, interrupted.

"Ciel, Luka wants you to help him put his shoes on," Alois said after poking his head in the kitchen door. "He won't let me do it."

The bluenette sighed. "Alright. Will you finish packing then?"

"Sure thing," the blonde replied. "If I couldn't do a simple thing like this, what sort of husband would I be?"

Ciel rolled his eyes at the other quoting their housekeeper, Sebastian, but smiled nonetheless. He kissed his spouse on the cheek before walking into the living room, where their three-year-old son was waiting for him.

"Daddy!" he exclaimed, grinning and clapping his hands excitedly. His brown hair flopped over his left eye socket as he bounced on the couch, his one green eye shining in excitement.

"Hello love," Ciel replied, ruffling the little boy's hair. The child giggled happily and squealed as one of his dads picked him up and held him high in the air. The father nuzzled their noses together before putting the child back on the couch. That's when he noticed something was missing.

"Luka, where's your eyepatch?" he asked.

The boy giggled and pulled the item out of his pocket, handing it to the bluenette. The adult sighed as he tied it back on, being careful not to tangle it in the boy's hair.

"Luka, you know you're not supposed to take it off," Ciel said.

At this, Luka pouted. "But it's weird!" he exclaimed, crossing his arms.

"I know love," the father replied. "But remember your eyepatch makes you unique. Just like Daddy." The poor child had had his eye gouged out as a baby, and had been abandoned by his birth parents shortly after. The boy was lucky that Ciel had decided to take a detour from his normal route home from work that day, or he probably would have never been found.

"Yeah, I know," Luka replied.

As the bluenette finished tying the child's shoes, his beau walked in, basket and blanket in tow. "Everyone ready to go?" he asked cheerfully.
