Destroying the Building

Tiptoeing as cautiously as she could around the limp body of the Snatcher, Andrea took her first proper glance around the rest of the store.
"Hey, it's not been entirely raided. We might be able to get, you know, like-" she twisted strands of her hair between two fingers nervously. "Supplies? If we're gonna be here for a while, I mean.."
Felix nodded, assessing the situation in his head.
"Right, so.. I guess we should take what we can, like..." he ticked off each item on his fingers. "Canned food, bottles of water, and- hey, no one has any injuries right?" He questioned.
Andrea paused, pulling her sleeve down a little and exposing the ugly, bluish-purple bruise which had spread across her palm. "Oh, I don't really have anything but a few bruises. Somehow I was lucky enough to escape without anything else." She frowned. "I'm really not sure how I got it, though. Nothing has even touched my palm."
Daniel's head shot up from the remaining bottles of alcohol he had been inspecting with a suspicious interest.
"Hey, Felicia. Didn't you get a mysterious bruise like that too?" He wiggled his fingers a little on the 'mysterious', but his expression portraying quite the opposite of what should've accompanied his jazz hands. "Because it's kinda weird. Really weird."
Felix nodded. "I did, yeah. But this situation..." he stared guiltily at the dead creature at his feet. "This is.... bullshit, man. I didn't wanna have to kill anything. Even if it was self defence or whatever."
Daniel ran his fingers stressfully through thick, curled hair.  "But still... we're gonna need weapons, right?" He murmured, unsure of himself. The other two span around.
"Weapons?" Felix questioned. "But-"
"Yes, Felix. Be honest with yourself." Daniel interrupted, sternly.
The redhead sighed, and Andrea lowered her eyes. "He's right. We don't know who could be out there, or how many of these..." Andrea pointed to the corpse of the demon. "We could encounter. In fact-ugh. I feel like this is a very Daniel thing to say, but I think we should set this building, um, on fire, once we've got everything we wanted. The thing could still be alive for all we know. Also, this place is practically a perfect hotspot for those things."
"My thoughts exactly." Daniel grunted, while Felix turned away.
"Let's just get the stuff we need, okay? I still have my rucksack." He sighed.
The next fifteen minutes were spent scavenging the aisles for packets of dry or canned food which was guaranteed to last them. It was, as Daniel commented, like preparing for an apocalypse, which, as Felix added, was pretty much near enough what they were experiencing.
"So... maybe we should go back towards my place..? It could be safer camping somewhere, and I guess that's what everyone else is doing, considering we haven't seen many people." Felix suggested. The other two agreed, and for the first time since this whole new world had arrived out of the blue, they had some sort of plan.

Number one: Fill up to the brim with supplies in case for whatever reason there weren't any left back home. Plus, apparently no body had eaten breakfast. How irresponsible.

Number two: set the building alight and kill any 'entities' which may have still been remaining.

Number three: Travel back, camp out, and work it all out from there.

Number four?

Figure out what the hell is going on. Piece by piece.

Tugging the straps of his rucksack over his shoulders, Felix took a deep breath and exited the shop, Andrea and Daniel on his heels.
"Would you like to do the honours?" Felix said, flashing a knowing smirk and handing a small lighter to Daniel. His friend grinned back at him.
"Oh, abso-fuckin-lutely."
Strolling across the pavement a little too casually, and carrying the lit lighter in one hand- he set the building ablaze.
It only took the span of around a minute for the shattered glasses of alcohol to catch alight and the flames to completely tear down the building. From a distance, the three teens sat and watched- Felix' long arms around the other two's shoulders, the mutual grim determination set in their eyes. Sure, all three of them were still confused, scared, angry, despaired. But they had taken down something that had mercilessly destroyed god knows how many innocent lives. A rush of adrenaline shuddered through Felix' body as he watched. It was almost grand, the flames licking up the side of the building before dragging it back down, sparks floating around them like fireflies of destruction.

We are going to survive this.
