S.A.D || a cordae story!

(listen y'all. I know this  story is specifically about my boyfriend Cordae, but I just had to tell y'all that my husband Nick... looking good and daddy-ish as ususal. 🤤 ard, on with the story.)

Ella

Cleaning up my mess, I stood from my seat and stretched, feeling instant gratification in my back muscles.

I picked up my belongings, stuffed my phone in  my back pocket, and picked up my trash, following the boys out the exit.

Throwing my stuff away, I saw them all waiting outside for me. 

"What took you so long?" Nick asked.

"I had to pick up some of y'all mess. I mean come on, y'all eat like 5 year olds." I said rolling my eyes.

"But they got people in thea' to clean it up." Jay said.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Oh well. I'm saving them some trouble."

"Thanks mom." Jay remarked sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and wiped my hands on the sides of my pants to wipe off some of the sweat that was starting to build up on them.

"Can one of y'all hold this so I can use the bathroom?" I held up my clutch waiting for one of them to take it from me. No one did. Not even Manny.

"Y'all are some bums." I said shoving it in Nick's hands. I didn't pay attention to him protesting as I went into the bathroom.

As I sat on the toilet, I found myself thinking back to the movie theater and Cordae sitting next me. And the way he made me feel when he whispered in my ear.... It made my body shudder and I kind of yearned for the feeling.

Snapping out of my reverie, I cleaned myself up, washing my hands and made sure I looked okay, before walking out of the bathroom.

Nick kinda dumped my stuff in my arms and walked off with the rest of the  guys. I sucked on my teeth and rolled my eyes, slowly following them outside.

I sighed and hummed a song as I pulled out my phone, checking my messages.

Barely anything from anyone. Per usual.

"Aye, El, we bouta go over Glizzy crib. You tryna go?" Nick asked me as I reached his car. 

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Have you met me yet?" 

He laughed a little and pulled me into his shoulder. "You know it was worth a shot."

I shrugged and giggled. "I suppose. Can you drop me off at home?" 

"Nah, I'ma leave you here in the parking lot." he replied with sarcasm dripping from his voice.

I glared at him and hit his side playfully. "Shut 'cho ass up and take me home."

Nick laughed and got on his side of the car. "I was playing. Aye Cor!"

My heart rate sped up as he looked in our direction. I inwardly yelped and got in the car, just to avoid his gaze. 

As I put my seat belt on, I heard them talking. Even when his voice was distant, Cordae always seemed to make my heart thump and hands sweat.

"A'ight, I'll see you there." Nick said as he hopped in the car, closing the door behind him.

"Don't think I ain't peeped y'all." he spoke out as we drove down the road.

"Whatchu talking about?" I played dumb as I looked through my shopping bags.
