" Then you put it in a square root form and bam " Lucas explained to me

I did as told then smiled at him

" I kinda get it now... thanks " I said

" You welcome baby... " he said smiling

I gave him a quick peck before the teacher walked in

He put his arm back around me as he watched me finish up my worksheet

Math isn't something I'm good at.

The teacher walked in

I looked up at her then back down

" Morning class... " she said

The class answered back groggily

I continued to finish it then I put it up into my binder

As I looked up a girl was standing there

" Your in my seat " she said

" I'm sure if I was... my boyfriend would've told me " I said back

" Well obviously it slipped his mind so move it " she said

I closed my eyes to maintain myself then opened my eyes back

" There's plenty other seats " I said pointing out multiple ones

" But I only want this one " she said

" What seems to be the problem? " the teacher asked walking over to us

" She's in my spot and won't move " she said

" Jakira move out of her seat please and get in your assigned one " the teacher said with a slight attitude

" She's in her assigned seat " Lucas said speaking up when he noticed what was going on

" Mr. Coly this has nothing to do with you. No one asked for your 2 cent cause it isn't worth anything or enough " she said

" Actually It has everything to do with me cause she's MY girlfriend and your not about to disrespect her in front of me.. And neither does your cheap ass dollar store lip stick. You would've had better luck going to Walmart " he said

I snickered

" I don't care if she was the first lady. If she's in someone's seat she needs to move and go to the back " she said

" No she does- "

" Its fine Lucas.... " I said because I was just tired of the situation and I'm not bout to go back and forth with them

" But- "

I gave him a look then packed my stuff up and moved to the back table alone

As I got my pencils out the seats pulled out from next to me and Lucas, Sammy and Zae sat next to me

" Y'all could've stayed at y'all table ... " I said

" Nah we good. " Sammy said while kicking back in the seat

I smiled and rubbed my eye from the sleepiness that I was honestly trying to fight

I didn't sleep at all last night...

We started writing our notes down and stuff then I finished and laid my head down just for a quick second but before I knew it I had fallen asleep..

" Your crazy Herb " I said while I was finishing up Zae's hair

" I know yo psychotic ass ain't talking. Lemme touch a damn donut, A damn knife in ya hand before I can even open the box " he said while shaking his head
