I walked into class by myself and sat down at my usual seat.

It's not the same anymore without Kira around....

It's like she was the light in our little squad... we barely hang together anymore.

Well I still hang with Sammy cause of course he's my boyfriend but I haven't seen Lucas since our last hospital trip together

Sammy hasn't seen him either.

I feel bad because he's grieving so much from it then me...

And she's my sister.

I told Sammy to give him the space he needs for awhile and if we gotta interfere then we do what we gotta do.

Sammy walked into the class and sat down next to me

I looked at him

" Hey babe " he said

I flashed a smile

" Hey " I said

" You alright? " he asked

I shrugged

" I'm good but not alright honestly " I said

" Still sad about Kira? " he asked

I sighed

" Yeah... " I said

He rubbed my back

" It's gonna be okay... she's gonna be okay. Your sister is a warrior.. literally " he said

I chuckled

" That guh gotta ugly mean side... and punch hard as hell " he said

" She's always been like that... Herb taught her that shit " I said

I smiled from the remembrance of our good yet bad times with Herb

I really miss him.

I sat next to her holding her hand

She looks so peaceful...

It's hurting me inside to know that she could really.... die...

If that happens... god forbids... I really don't know what I would do without this girl...

She taught me a whole lot in life and has been with me through the good and bad times.

Regardless of my parents not liking her she stills deals and respect them...

And that's what pisses me off.

Kira has nothing to do with what happened to me and Sammy sister....

But they swear up and down all black girls are the same.
