They purposely didn't catch her!

Ooo I swear I could kill somebody right now man....

" Family of Jakira Rosé " the doctor said

Me, Lucas and Sammy got up quickly going over to him

" Are any of y'all her guardian? " he asked

" No... but I'm her twin sister " I said

" Ummm... well I'm really not suppose to give out patients information but since you are for a fact her sister she's in a coma suffering from a concussion. Your lucky she didn't hit her head any harder because then it would've damaged her skull permanently and she would've most likely died from internal bleeding and traumatic brain damage... " he said

I let out a sigh of relief

" Okay.. when will she wake up? " I asked

" It's up to her.. Right now it depends on her if she's gonna wake up or not but when she does she may be suffering from short amnesia. It's normal after a hard blow to the head and from being in a coma " he explained

" How long does she have on the life support machine? " Lucas asked

" For however long she needs... right? " Sammy asked

" No.. after 4 weeks which is a month we either pull the plug or you can keep her on it but it costs a arm and leg literally... " he said

" How much we talkin'? " Lucas asked

" 10k " he said

" Oh god " I said while looking down and rubbing my temples as I felt a migraine coming on

" 10k?? As in a 10 with three zeros behind?? " Sammy stupid ass asked

" Nah nigga 10k as in a 10 with one zero behind, duh you fucking idiot " Lucas said

" Well damn nigga yeen even gotta cuss a nigga " he said

" Well it doesn't pay to be stupid ya whole life " Lucas said

I rolled my eyes

" Can we go see her? " I asked

He nodded

" They finishing up a couple of tests on her but by the time y'all get up there they should be done.... room 351 " he said

" Thank you... " I said as I felt nauseous

I haven't been in a hospital since Herb got shot and it honestly gives me chills because this is the same hospital where he was pronounced dead..

I walked over to the elevator getting in with the guys

" 10k? How we supposed to pay that much if she don't wake up by then? " Sammy asked

" I don't even know.... that's my college tuition right there " I said

I looked at Lucas as he was leaning against the wall with his hands rubbing his forehead

He was shaking... real bad...

" You good Lucas? " I asked

" Yeah. " he said

" You sure? " Sammy asked

" Yes stop asking me damn " he said with a whole attitude and walking out as soon as the elevator doors opened

" Niggas catching attitudes faster then a hoe with fucked up feelings " Sammy said while walking out behind him

" Sammy shut the hell up " I said trying not to laugh

We walked down the hall to her room and I stood to the door for a minute as I saw only her body but not her face because Lucas was blocking the way

Closing my eyes and breathing in I step in slowly trying to keep my balance

I walked over to her and she was laying there lifeless..

I closed my eyes and gulped as I then let out a breath

Lucas ran his thumb over her hand as he held it

It was silent until I saw Lucas move over touching her inner thigh

" Nigga what is you doing? " Sammy asked

" She gotta purple mark on her leg.... how have I never seen that?... " he asked

I thought I told her to cover that shit up!

" Umm.. we was playing around while she was flat ironing her hair and her clumsy ass dropped the flat iron on her thigh " I lied

" You sure? That look like somebody hit her... recently... " he said looking uncertain on what to believe

" Yeah she has very sensitive skin... unless you been giving her hickeys recently " I said

He looked at it then kinda shrugged

" Maybe I did.. but wait we haven't had sex since- " he said getting cut off by the doctor walking in

Thank god.

" Y'all gotta say your last words you need cause visitation hours are over in 15 minutes " he said

I nodded

We took turns and it was finally my turn

I walked back into the room after Lucas and stood over her

" I need you Kira man.... There isn't no me without you. Your my other half literally... " I said

I felt the tears coming

" Your all I got left... " I said while then tucking in my lips as the tears flowed down

It rolled down my cheek and dropped onto her

As I opened my eyes back looking at her she had tears flowing down also..

The doctor came in and I wiped my eyes

" Times up... " he said

I turned around going over to him

" Okay.. umm... she was crying while I was talking to her " I said

" That's because she can hear everything and right now her body is going through the different emotions. It's alright... " he explained

" Oh... okay.. thanks for everything. I'll be back tomorrow " I said

He nodded

I walked out and straight over to Sammy

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder as I hugged him from the side with my face buried into his side and I sobbed quietly..
