You broke me.
Not in a way in which you drop a vase and it shatters,
or when you walk out and my hearts breaks.
But in a way where I told you I couldn't swim, but you told me you'd catch me, then left me to drown.
You promised to be my wings, yet I never took flight.
You said you'd be my forever, even when I wasn't your always.
You were better at lying then merely trying.
And that's how I broke.
