Pic of D'Andre ^^_________________________________________
Shyanne's POV
I looked at all the shelves in the supermarket trying to find the last ingredient I needed to make an awesome sauce for my chilli. My mother has some guests coming over in a couple of hours and she waited until last minute to tell me. So now I'm here trying to get everything I need to blow the minds of these people who I have no idea who they are. All I know is that they're some of my mom's friends from high school.
I saw a tin of beans on top of a shelf but I couldn't reach it. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty tall, but I still can't reach it and I hate when that happens. Especially with my height. What's the point if I can't reach anything?
I tried balancing on my toes to get to it but I was still a little too short. I then climbed onto my shopping cart and made a quick push at the can before the cart moved to the opposite end of the isle. While I tried to regain myself, the tin fell off the shelf with two more cans hitting a man that was passing by.
"Firecrackers!" I exclaimed before I rushed to his side helping him, "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that. Are you hurt?" I asked him as I noticed he was holding his nose with his eyes shut tight. He shook his head as he rose a little after being hunched over . As he rose to his full height I took notice of his physical features.
He was tall and he had a defined body. It was evident that he worked out from time to time and it had payed off. He wasn't too buff though. He was at a state that I would call just right. Not too much muscle but not too little.
He raised his head with his eyes wide open before he closed them tightly, still reveling in pain.
And that's when I noticed his eyes.
His hazel eyes seemed to glow like fireflies. They drew extra attention to themselves as if they were demanding it. His light brown hair seemed to be creamier than any other I've seen but the color brought out his sparkling, bright eyes. Maybe that's why he's wearing a soft brown shirt.
I also noticed that there was a red mark on his nose from where the tin had hit him.
He shook his head slightly anf rubbed the sore spot as he straightened up fully and looked at me, hypnotising me with his eyes.
"Its okay, I'm alright." He said momentarily closing his eyed. When he did open them, however, his memorizing eyes stayed focused on me as if he was analyzing me. I almost looked away but the smile that tickled at the corner of his mouth had me concerned.
"Are you sure? You just got hit pretty hard by a can and your smiling about it." At my statement his mouth grew into a full on smile. He turned his head briefly to the side before turning back to me and said in his very attractive voice.
"Well, if it wasn't for that can, maybe I wouldn't have met you" He looked at me for a while before extending his hand with his smile still plastered on his face, "My name's D'Andre."
"Shyanne" I said accepting his hand shake. Once he released my hand he, he took up the can on the floor and gave it to me.
" I believe this is yours" he says as he hands me the can of beans.
"Thanks" I said and took the can from him, "Are you sure your okay or are you just saying that?"
"I'm sure, but I'd feel better if I knew that I'd see you again. Maybe we can go out for a drink sometimes?" He asked me, staring deeply into my eyes with his brilliant ones.
