Shyanne's outfit ^^

Shyanne's POV

Dinner was amazing. Serena and I had amazed everyone with our mad cooking skills and everything was gone before I could even go for seconds. The guys that came were hot like Serena had said and they absolutely loved my cheese cake. My mom tried to get me to mingle with them, but I just fed them and left. I knew she was trying to get me a boyfriend but I'm perfectly fine with being single and free. They did enjoy my sister, Melanie's company and I did not want to be there with them all drooling over her, so I stuck to my happy place. The kitchen.

Everyone especially loved the chilli. Maybe that guy had knocked some magic into the beans to make it taste great.

Hmm. D'Andre.

Shaking my head, I got back to reality. I was on my way to check on the place I rented out to start my restaurant. Its always been my dream to open my very own restaurant. Even though the place I rented isn't big, it would just have to do until I can afford to open someplace bigger. Then I'll fulfill my dream.

Smiling, I stepped from the sidewalk to cross the street only to be pulled back with much force into very comfortable arms. I then heard the screeching of tires and indistinctive shouting.

"Are you alright?" a familiar voice asked. I looked away from the car that almost hit me and into the face of my savior.

I was greeted by hazel eyes that captivated me from the moment I first saw them. They held concern in them and I felt a rush of warmth surged through me at the thought that he was concerned about me.

He barely knows me.

I then realized I haven't answered his previous question.

"Yeah, I'm alright," I said looking away from him, " uh...you can let go now." I really didn't want him to let go of me, but as much as I wanted to, we couldn't stand here all day looking into each other's eyes.

He, however, made no move to let me go. Instead, he pulled me closer which made me look bad into his hypnotic eyes.

" Not until we go out for drinks. I recall you said we could, if we meet again." He said with a sexy smirk on his face.

Those lips. Mmm.

I blinked snapping myself out of my daze and looked back into his eyes. I thought about it for a while before I made up my mind.

"No. I didn't really mean that. It was just my way of making an awesome exit. But hey, they're plenty of girls out there that would have drinks with you. So, you can just let me go now."

His smirk fell from his face at my response. It was obvious that he was shocked by my reply. With a face like his, I'm sure that this might be a first for him. Rejection, it seems, is a new feeling for him.

" You were letting go" I reminded him as he still looked at me on shock.

Finally, he let me go. I took a last glance at him before I gave him a small smile and walked away.

Handsome men and their big egos.

* * *

"And then I just walked away." I said to Serena as I finish telling what had happened between me and D'Andre.
She doubled over again into another fit of laughter.

I rolled my eyes at her as I continued to sip my tea. I was way too early in the morning for this. I just want to finish up here so that I can go get something to eat.

The inspector had said that the place was too small to have all the necessary requirements that a restaurant needs so I'm going to have to settle for a simple bakery or something like that. So I guess I'll just have to open a bakery. Its better than nothing. And it's only temporary so its no big deal.

"Wait," she said as she got a hold of herself, " you just left a hot piece of tool in the middle of the street after rejecting his offer to go for breakfast?"

I nodded.

"Girl your all sorts of crazy. I would never refuse free food. Especially if its from a sexy beast." she say giving me a knowing look.

Aren't you married?

Turning away from her, I admired my new place. It was almost ready. All it needed was a few tables and chairs outside, since inside was too small, appliances around the back, some nice curtains, a pretty coat of paint and my special touch.

I can just imagine everything. The customers, the smell of freshly baked pastries and the smile of a satisfied customer.

I was brought back to reality when I felt Serena nudging me. I turned my head in her direction, giving her my attention.

"Does this D'Andre, by any chance, have brown and is wearing a black coat and jeans today?"she asked. I nodded at her and displayed my confusion.

She nodded in the doors direction.

"He's outside"

I turned towards the door, observing outside. Sure enough, D'Andre was outside. He turned away quickly seeing that he's been caught. He started to leave so I followed him outside. He was about to get inside his car when I shouted at him to stop. He turned around and looked at me waiting to see what I'll do next.

I walked towards him and stop beside the open car door. I narrowed my eyes at him ad he stud before me not seeming at all phased by the fact that I caught him stalking me.

"Why are you following me?"

He dropped his expressionless look and smirked at me.

"How do you know that I was following you? This is a very busy place. Maybe I'm just passing by."

"Then why did run when I looked at you?"

"I just remembered that I have something to do."

I was about to say something else to him when Serena decided to appear.

"Hiii! I'm Serena, Sky's friend. She's told me so much about you." She said, shaking his hand.

I sent her a death glare at her words and the fakeness behind them. He raised an eyebrow at me as Serena released his hand.

"Really," he smirked, "I find that hard to believe since she won't even let me take her out for a drink."

"Oh, she'd be happy to" Serena pushed me inside his car. As I got up to sit properly he sat beside me closing the door.

Sighing, I sat back. I might as well enjoy this.
