Falling For You

~Chapter 5~ Awkward Situations

Karlene's P.O.V. : I wanted to help Stef out with her situation with Shawn but every time she saw him she would freak out and run away. It was getting super complicated but I was trying my best. 

I had lunch next with a couple of my friends and Stefany, Shawn was friends with jack and the rest of the guys and I asked Stefany if she would like to sit with us today at lunch and meet the rest of my friends. She agreed so we walked into the lunch room and right when she saw Shawn she freaked out and almost ran away, I told her "Stef you have to stop trying to run away It's not going to make anything better." She said "I know but I just want to avoid any sort of Interaction with him and you know all the awkwardness and stuff." I said "It's time that you stand up to him and tell him how you feel at least." She said "Fine but only this time." I said "Thank You"

We walked over to where the girls and the rest of the guys were, I introduced her to the group by saying "Hey guys so this is Stefany, She's new here but she's really cool." Shawn looked up at her and smiled. I saw her getting really nervous and I asked her if she was OK, She said "Uhhh yeah I'm great." I knew she was lying but I didn't want to pressure her. The girls introduced themselves as well and each of them said Hi and all that stuff. The guys thought she was pretty cool, But I know Shawn had some pretty deep feelings and thoughts about her.

Stefany's P.O.V. : "It was nice that Karlene was trying to help me with my situation about Shawn but It wasn't going to help, Her friends were really cool and they seemed to like me. When they were done introducing themselves Shawn looked up at me and smiled. I got really nervous because that's the kind of interaction I didn't want. It was so hard to talk to him even though we've only talked like once when I met him at the park the same day I moved here. He sang to me and then we kissed. Me and him were in no type of relationship and to finish it off we pretty much didn't even know each other. This was all just so confusing."

"I decided that it would be best to just go outside and get some air. I just wanted to get out of there and not deal with all that stuff. I was hoping I wouldn't find anybody I knew and luckily I didn't but I did run into someone. It hurt pretty bad but I got over it. I ran into a girl and she was really Nice, Her name was Paige. She said "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! Are you OK?!" I said "Yeah I'm fine no worries." we talked for a while and It was pretty cool. We got along really well and we became friends. She asked me why I was running and I told her "Well it's complicated you see, There's this guy I kind of know named Shawn. When I recently moved here to Canada I met him and we met at a park and all that. He sang to me then he kissed me. I don't know why but he just kissed me. I didn't know what to do so I kissed back. And now I see him everywhere I go. It's so weird. 

She said "Ohhhhh Yeaa Mendes he's pretty shy but he's a really nice guy, I hang out with him and his other friends and with their girlfriends. I'm a really good friend of Karlene's but about Shawn yeah he's single he says he wants to find the perfect girl, I've heard some stuff about you and He said some stuff too like when he met you he said that he sang to you and you sang to him and then you guys kissed." 

I said "That's the problem! We kissed and it was awkward because we don't know each other that well and I kissed back not knowing what to do!"

She said "Come with me I can help you out with this. You just have to have confidence that's all."

Paige was super cool and I could tell she was really helpful. So was Karlene. They were both really cool people and I was glad to have friends like them. 

I really wanted to get to know Shawn properly but It was hard for me to do that without wanting to run away. It was time that I had to start having confidence but I had to take my time and go step by step.
