Zach's POV
Opening the door to my car, I was greeted by a sulky looking Loren.
"What were you doing in there? Taking a shower?" Loren complained.
"It takes time to achieve beauty." I stated as she giggled. THAT WAS SO CUTE EEEEE. I THINK I MIGHT VROOM VROOM TO THE MOON.
*skip the ride*
"Here we are." I said as we both admired the view. The horizon displayed a serene sunset as we both sat down on a blanket. Loren hugged her knees and set her chin down on them. She let out a small sigh. Something was up, she hadn't made one joke about breadsticks and was silent the whole ride there. Edging closer, I put my arm around her shoulders as she slowly began to set her knees down. Nestling her head into my shoulder, I felt warm tears on my arm.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm here." I whispered, rubbing her back. I let her cry into my should for a minute or two until I pulled away and forced her to look at me.
"Now will you tell me what's up?" I said, lifting her chin. Her eyes glistened with tears. I hated seeing her like this.
"It's Jorden, your ex. She's been messaging me horrible stuff, bringing up past incidents and I can't-" she said before she burst into tears again."
Loren's POV
"Take the time with me tonight,
You should come to with me tonight,
We can feel the free tonight,
Nobody gotta know" Zach whispered into my ear as I felt chills running through my spine. His warm breath heated up my cheeks. I pulled away and said, "Thanks." He smile and used his thumb to wipe away my tears. He leaned in and laid a soft kiss on my cheek and then embraced me again.
