"An iced latte for Availa!" a barista yelled into the busy crowd. Availa? how did he get AVAILA when I told him my name was loren? Collecting my drink, I sat down at an empty table and pulled out my phone to see a dozen notifications from the group chat. I ignored them all and texted Zach and told him to come over Starbucks.

Out of nowhere, I felt someone sit opposite me as I was scrolling through instagram. I looked up to a boy around my age, with dark hair and dull blue eyes, but something about him made me feel uneasy.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing here alone?" he asked in a creepy manner. I stirred my straw in my coffee and replied with, "Uh, i'm waiting for a friend." I texted Zach to hurry up as the boy started saying something. My instincts told me that i needed to go. As I rose, the boy rose with me, panic spreading through his eyes. "What? You can't leave yet. You know what, you can come with me, I know a place that's better than here." he said, venom lacing his voice. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. As I tried to run, he grabbed my wrist harshly. That's going to form a bruise, I thought to my self. "Let me go!" I said, trying to yell to grab someone's attention, but my words came out as whispers. 

"She said, let her go." A familiar voice sounded from behind me. The boy rolled his eyes and dropped my wrist. He nonchalantly walked away as i turned around to face whoever saved me. I turned around to see...
