They knew each other? I knew this was going to happen. I need to tell them before it's too late.
Loren's POV
Zach told me not do anything stupid. That failed. I dropped my glass on the floor and when I went to clean it, my dumbass self tripped and SPLAT, I got shards of glass stuck on my cheek. O sheeeet, Zach's gonna murder me. I got up and headed to the toilet as my tears fell. I fell at the doorstep and broke down. Everything came back to me, Geo, Jorden and Debbie. It was all too much.
Zach's POV
I came back with Starbucks and entered Loren's house again. I was extremely worried she would hurt herself without me. It turns out I was right. I heard soft whimpers come from inside. I dropped the Starbucks and ran into her room. The image of Loren made my heart ache. I gently picked her up and set her on bed. I noticed her cheek and got the first aid box. As I removed the glass, I could feel Loren's minty breath on my face. After I finished, I put band aids on her little cheeks. She set her head on her pillow and took a deep breath. I kissed her forehead, my heart still hurting. "Are you ready to tell me what happened?" I said stroking her hair.
