Chapter 22: Finally on the Battlefield

Bulma: S-So are they coming or not?

Goki: They are. And they're bringing Y/N along too!

Goki clasped her hands and smiled.

Vegeta: You seem excited.

Goki: Of course I am! I finally get to see Y/N after all this time!

Bulma: I'm glad to see him too. He's actually a pretty nice guy sometimes. But Goki, PLEASE tell him to watch his behavior around Lord Beerus! He's going to get us all killed!

Goki: Oh relax! I think he doesn't mind Y/N, otherwise he would've destroyed him and all of us by now!

Bulma was sweating out of nervousness. She was clearly unsure.

Bulma: I really hope you're right..!

Sorbet: So, a new challenger is coming?

Frieza: It appears so. But it doesn't matter. They will all fall to me like the rest.

Tagoma: Sir.

Tagoma said that in a very assertive tone. Frieza turned to Tagoma, curious what he had to say so badly to be foolish enough to address him in that voice. He wasn't irritated or anything, however. Frieza thought to be Tagoma as his best soldier yet, so he'd let it slide.

Frieza: Yes, Tagoma?

Tagoma bowed his head to Frieza.

Tagoma: Please, Lord Frieza! I've been so anxious to show my power and test it out on the battlefield!

Frieza blinked in surprise at Tagoma. He didn't expect him to be so straightforward about it.

Frieza: Very well then. I shall hand you down the task of defeating those pests. You can even pick whoever you would like to demolish, just as long as you crush them in your hand.

Frieza said that with no sign of relaxation at all. He hated the fact that these scum are still standing before him, still opposing him. All because of his men failed to do the task of exterminating them. At this point, he thought that even Pest Control could do a better than job than all of his soldiers combined. Tagoma was the only exception of course

Tagoma: Thank you so much, Lord Frieza! I won't let you down! And as for who I choose...

He pointed at Gohan.

Tagoma: You!

Gohan: Me? But I already-

Tagoma: You didn't seem to have any trouble with Jeice. So that leads me to believe you barely wasted any stamina at all! After all, I didn't see you use any ki attacks at all.

Gohan: That's not true! When I tore him in half with my kick, I used ki to make it become stronger.

Tagoma just scoffed.

Tagoma: Well one time shouldn't be enough to drain you, right?

Gohan: Tch. Well I guess you've got a point. Fine, I'll fight you.

Tagoma's lips curled into a wild smile.

Tagoma: Finally! I can test out this power! HAHAHA!
